CHAPTER 42Diana's POV"What?" Joey and Brandon asked Aramis at the same time, their eyes widened in terror. "She said she got pushed!" Aramis mumbled, stroking his neck as they narrowed their gaze. I balled my fist in anger, why were they acting so concerned about her? She was just a slave here, even if she dies here, that shouldn't bother them."Pushed...how did that happen? Can't she swim?" I asked worriedly, throwing my hands in the air dramatically. Why was Aramis around at that moment? Just when I thought I was going to end her existence for good, this had to happen."It seems she can't swim because she drowned completely. I had to dive in to bring her out then I revived her." Aramis mumbled and the others stared at him in amazement.Soon his words became clear to me as I clenched my fist in anger. He revived her, that means he did mouth to mouth restricutation? That means they indirectly kissed. What the f**k!! I was fuming right there , my jaws clinched."Why not just disclos

CHAPTER 44 Amber's POV Diana glanced at the triplets as they walked out of my room. As soon as the door closed behind them, she returned her burning gaze back to me as she took slow but dangerous steps towards me.A devilish smirk was playing on her lips as she threw me a menacing glare. "You fool!!" She insulted, landing an heavy slap on my face that made my head fall as my hair scattered around my face.I held on to it as the stinging sensation ate me whole and worse still, I couldn't voice out a sound to ease the pain a bit."Why were you trying so hard to make me seem like the culprit?" She asked undauntily as she gripped my neck and I attempted coughing but she set her hands on her lips, motioning me to keep quiet."A little sound and I snap your neck off." She threatened wistfully as I swallowed, enduring the pain. The injury she inflicted on me was still clearly there but I wore clothes to cover it."Believe me Ma'am, I was really pushed but I have no idea of who could have d

CBAPTER 46Caught againAmber's POV The door closed with a loud bang as I slumped on my bed, gazing at the ceiling in terror. I was doomed, the triplets shouldn't learn about this, most especially Brandon and Aramis. That might literally be my end.But how do I go about this? How do I tell Joey that I wasn't interested in training any longer? Won't he think I'm just taking him as a joke? What if he gets upset about this?I sighed out, how do I bring myself to tell him this? I can try my best to avoid the triplets but as for Joey, it was a different case because we were having training sessions tomorrow. How do I explain to him that I don't longer need his help? If I don't do it, Diana will surely make me regret this.I was devastated and thorn between two choices.~~~"He slipped into coma." Joey announced in the dinning room as soon as he ended the call. I was setting up the table for breakfast when he got a phone call.I arched my brows slightly but I didn't dare to ask a word. Br

CHAPTER 48Amber's POV I got into my room and locked it at once as I leaned on it, my head was a whirlwind of thoughts. My heart was pounding heavily, threatening to rip out. I recalled how he yanked me back and crashed my back softly oon the wall, his tall figure hovering over me. For few moments, I saw a glint if burning desire in his eyes as he mumbled huskily to my hearings. A shiver ran down my spine as I recalled that incident. He seemed upset when he walked into the kitchen earlier. Why was he so sweaty? And why did he act so weird? He claimed he just saw a pickle on my hair and he just wanted to hell me take it off but he discovered it was just a hairpin. Was that really it or it was just an excuse to...A knock threw me out of my thoughts as I flinched forward in fear, since I was leaning in the door.I knew who it was, I didn't need to guess since she always knocked in such a harsh manner.I just stood there, wondering if I should ooen up or not. Her heart was thumping loudly as she trembled in fear. “Stay calm..” His voice came out in a husky tone as Amber struggled more, trying to get away from him but he held her firmly. She made to scream but he was more quick as he swiftly covered her mouth with his palm forcefully. She couldn't see his face because it was hidden beneath a mask, only his eyes were exposed. But she knew that voice, it sounded really familiar.“Do you have a death wish..?” He asked through gritted teeth, rage evident in his tone as he brought out a shiny metal. Amber's eyes widened in horror at the sight of the silver knife. She gasped out, her legs wobbling as the gangster threatened her. She was doomed ad there was no room for escape. With that, she acted neutral as she stopped with the struggle at once but her
