“This is Derek Vaughn, please leave a message if I don't answer the phone.” The automated voice came up for the nth time. Taylor threw her phone against the wall, smashing it into pieces in anger. Today was the 30th day, she had been locked up in her room by Andrew after being accused of frolicking with Daniel. It was also her 30th time being sexually punished by him. Taylor shivered when she glanced at the time. It was 3pm already, and it was only a matter of 2 hours before Andrew would be back to make her life a living hell. She heard a knock on the door, but ignored it as she sprawled on her bed, her back turned to the door. Just like she expected, she heard the door unlocking before it was pushed open. “You should eat something, Mrs. Radford.” Becky said as she walked in and placed the food she had brought with her on Taylor's beside table. Taylor had her eyes wide open, but didn't bother acknowledging Becky's presence. Becky stayed in the room for a while before she breath

The familiar beeping sound of the heart monitor machine echoed in Taylor's ears the moment she opened her eyes before her other sense organs began reacting to everything else. She first noticed the room smelt antiseptic smell and the first colors she saw was that of the room’s white walls and blue curtains. The hospital. She was in the hospital. She had fallen unconscious in the wine room while being electrocuted by Andrew and while unconscious, her brain had blocked her from feeling feeling pain. Joe that she regained consciousness, a sudden wave of intense pain swept through her body, causing her to wince and shut her eyes, the vein in the middle of her forehead bulging in pain. “You were out for is long I thought you were going to die." Her reddened eyes flew open and she glanced to the direction of the voice to see Nicholas leaning on the wall in a corporate outfit. Taylor blinked her eyes at him numerous times, slowly recollecting she had heard him screaming something just b

Taylor and Daniel continued cuddling in the ward for several minutes, unaware of the video circulating on the internet about them.Suddenly, the door to the ward was pushed open from the outside, and three patrol officers walked in, one of them flashing a warrant in Daniel's face as the other two helped him out of the bed and handcuffed him outright."What is this nonsense? What do you think you're doing?" Daniel lashed out at them in confusion. The one with the warrant took it closer to Daniel's eyes, then dropped his hand beside him as he read out his rights."Mr. Holt, you are under arrest for breaching the restraining order you were served. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law."You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford an attorney, one will be appointed for you. Do you understand the rights I have just read to you?""What are you doing? What order are you talking about?" Taylor got off the bed and

As Ramos drove her to Andrew's Solution, Taylor took out her phone and began browsing the internet to see how bad the situation had gotten."It's a day already, and no word from her. Someone please tell me she plans to take responsibility for her actions and not shirk it off like she has always done.""I hope she does that too. If she doesn't, we can just boycott any ad video she appears in and any movie she stars in after this.""Yes, I agree. She probably thinks the netizens will forget this ever happened if she keeps silent and doesn't apologize for what she did.""You guys, haven't you heard the news? Andrew's Solution is holding a press conference where she's said she'd apologize.""Oh, really? Good for her. I'll make sure to be outside the building waiting to hurl eggs at her if she said the wrong thing during the press conference!""Me too! I'll come with a crate of eggs so others will get a chance to hurl eggs at her too!""What? Hurl eggs at me? Would no one really ask why I

The morning of the next day, Andrew and Taylor had breakfast in silence, as they had been doing.Ramos drove her to the gym and was about to park properly in the gym's parking lot when his phone, which he placed on the car's dashboard, rang out.Kaleb's voice came through as soon as the he answered the call."There will be an impromptu shipment this morning. Sergei is around, and he's been sniffing around everywhere looking for an opportunity to interfere in our business.”“Boss thinks it's only a matter of time before that dog sniffs out where the next shipment will be delivered and intercepts it.""I've already dispatched people there to collect the shipment. I didn’t realize it at first until boss told me. I think Sergei will find out the location and go there with his people.”“If that happens, he’ll surely go with three times the actual number of our people there. I'd have sent more people, but they won't get there fast enough to stop Sergei from killing everyone and taking off w
