Cynthia Dion: "What are you doing?" I screamed when he pushed me into the car once more, and this time he succeeded, rolling inside with me.He took off his belt and, while forcing my back against the seat, tied my hands behind my back after turning me around."HELP!" I yelled as soon as the realization hit me. I couldn't overpower him. He still managed to secure my hands and then made me sit down, fastening the seatbelt on me before he sat in the driver's seat in silence."My father will notice I haven't returned home," I began to threaten him, even though my father probably wouldn't notice my absence since I was supposed to go to the academy next."Shut up!" Enzo shouted, adjusting the rearview mirror to keep an eye on me as I sat in the backseat, panic taking hold of me. He remained still for a solid minute before inserting the keys into the ignition. As he started driving, fear began to engulf me. I had no idea what he had in mind or what kind of video he was thinking of making t

Cynthia Dion: "What hap---," he began to say, but then he closed his eyes and froze, as if someone had switched off his power. My heart skipped a beat at his eerie reaction. Maybe he was confused because he saw me just in my bra?It must be so concerning to him.I felt terrible for making things so awkward, but the blood from the scratch was concerning. I had my hand pressed against it, and it was stinging. I was still wearing my bra, but my chest was mostly exposed since I couldn't afford a new bra in my current size."Ow!" I groaned again, wondering what to do next. Should I just put the shirt over the wound or ask Mr. Holt to fetch help? After he calmed himself down and snapped out of the awkward moment, he opened his eyes, and I turned my face to the side. I knew I had to ask for his assistance. It wasn't like I was completely naked, but I felt a bit shy around him because he was much older, my father's friend, and, well, a very attractive man.I've never been drawn to older men,

Cynthia Dion: I spotted him seated by the window, gazing out at the street. I couldn't even blink; I was too afraid of what might happen if I closed my eyes for even a moment. My breathing came in heavy gasps. It seemed like he didn't care about the situation, even though he was the one who had orchestrated it.Eventually, I gave in and remained quiet, realizing that struggling wouldn't free me from these restraints. While I was preoccupied with watching Atticus, I noticed that one of the guards had injected me with something. That's when I began to feel strangely disoriented."Atticus!" I whispered as I started to drift off.It wasn't wolfbane; it was some sort of sedative. When I woke up, my lips were no longer covered, and I found myself lying in a bed without any restraints.I quickly sat up in bed and began to examine the room. The only items in this stark white space were the bed and a large mirror. It didn't seem like a place where anyone was currently living; it appeared to h

Cynthia Dion:I drifted into sleep as soon as they placed me in the bed. Time became a blur, and it felt like I'd been here for ages. They only allowed me out for short bathroom breaks and a quick clean-up before another injection. There was no extra food or drink, leaving my body weak. The thought of leaving the bed seemed like an impossible task. It must have been countless days later when Atticus finally came to my room one evening. I was barely awake, as they hadn't injected me for a few hours. Atticus paced around nervously, while I struggled to stay conscious."You know," he began speaking when he realized I might not fully comprehend him, "I lost my parents when I was just a child. I faced people who wanted to exploit me for money from my pack. Some even tried to rob my pack by manipulating me into giving them the keys to the security office, but those were random events. Even when I encountered the worst people, none were as heartless as you. You came into my life, and from th

Cynthia Dion: "When he discovers that I don't even have a wolf, do you think he'll spare me? After being reminded of the scars on my wrist, do you think he'll still let me live?" I continued to cry and plead with the Moon Goddess."Please, save me," I sobbed, fearing the moment when this door would open, and Mr. Beret would come to claim me."How can I survive this?" I asked myself in a panic. I was going crazy with the fear of getting taken away by that old man. The fact that he knew I wasn’t ready for this mating ceremony yet he was happily awaiting our wedding just made me even more scared of him. "But--I do have a second mate," my sobs ceased as a name surfaced in my memory. It wasn't Enzo's name because he was just as terrible as Atticus."Mr. Holt,"I sat down on the mattress, my thoughts consumed by Mr. Holt. I knew it would be incredibly awkward to approach him after the scene I had made, but I was of legal age, and he could provide me with protection in this nightmare of a
