POV: GiannaIt’s been a few weeks since the King of Werewolves and his son visited. I must say that I found the future King of all the Werewolves quite handsome. I even invited him over for some baking lessons. I know so weird, but I wanted to teach him to bake since he loved sweets, I can also use this to get in good graces with him.I am more excited that my baby boy gets to come home in a few days. It has been a long journey for the both of us. I have learned so much from the doctors and nurses. I even volunteered for a few shifts with the doctors.I am going to be a doctor so why not take advantage of this opportunity now.I head over to the pack hospital and get ready to see my pup when dad mind links me and tells me I need to come to his office.Upon reaching his office he tells me that in a few weeks my mom and he will be going on a vacation for a few days. They will be coming back just before the red moon party that we will be hosting this year. He wants me to step in and be

POV: RasheedI have been going back and forth weather to call Gianna about inviting her to the ceremony. I’ve decided to call and stop fearing the rejection. I grab my phone and wait for her to answer.“Hello?” her angelic voice comes through the speaker.“Gianna its Rasheed, I was wondering if you could spear me a few moments of your time.” I ask.“Of course, anything for you, your majesty” she says.“First while speaking to me in private no titles are needed, please address me by Rasheed. The next thing I wanted to ask is if you are available next week to accompany me to my King ceremony?”I ask and I am sweating profusely as I wait for her reply.“Like as a date? I thought you had a chosen mate you would be taken. I am already coming to your event. My father said since I am almost the Alpha that it is only right for me to partake in the event. So, I would love to come, as far as your date I think it would be wise if I just came alone and you take your chosen mate.”I feel rejected

POV: GiannaTomorrow I am bringing my baby boy home. My sweet Onyx.I am currently in his nursery folding a ton of clothes, I made sure to wash all his clothes, so they won’t irritate his skin.I am stacking diapers, when in walks Icing and Nova.“What are you doing?” Icing asks.“I’m getting the nursery ready for your nephew. Would you like to help?”“Sure!” she exclaims. We are almost done and in walks my dad and the girls run out snickering. He goes to touch one of Onyx’s outfits and I growl.“Sorry dad, I didn’t mean to.”“You sounded just like your mother when she was pregnant with Aaron. It’s called nesting sweetheart; she was so protective of his room. She wouldn’t even let me in there for a while. It was worse with you, her little princess.” He says with a chuckle.“I wish things were different, but things happen for a reason. I only hope when I meet my mate, he will be willing to accept Onyx, if not I will have to reject him.”I sigh feeling dejected. I give him a sad smile a

POV: GiannaThe Red Moon party is tomorrow, and I feel like I have so much to do still.Mom and dad won’t be here until late tonight which means I must greet some guest coming in tonight. Also, the day after the Red Moon party is officially my birthday, dad has invited all the Alpha’s to come for my official Alpha ceremony. Did I forget to mention that I am also planning that with NO HELP. Goddess take the wheel.I am making sure all the guest rooms are ready for their arrivals and there will be enough food for dinner tonight, when Sierra mind links me.“Hey Gia, we have a problem” she says.“Ok meet me in my office” I link back.I head to my office to see what the newest issue is. I hear Onyx crying and I head over to get him. Sierra and Storm are waiting for me by my door.“Ladies, come on in.” I say.I walk in and sit behind my desk. Onyx drifts off back to sleep and I place him in his bassinet.“So, what is the problem?”“Well…. The issue is with the King” Sierra states nervously.

POV: RasheedI’m getting ready in my room when the tantalizing smell of vanilla cupcakes hits me. It is so overpowering; I am unable to move or talk or even think straight. I know my mate is here. I am kind of bummed, to tell you the truth I was hoping it was Gianna that was my mate. I feel such a pull towards her, I just can’t understand why.I rush out the door to find my mate and I am met with Gianna holding a tray of vanilla cupcakes. She blushes at the sight of me, and it is then that I realize I only have on boxers. She quickly turns around blushing even harder.“Your majesty, I brought you some more cupcakes, I heard you were running low and decided to make you some more.” she bashfully says.I grab the cupcakes and tell her thank you. They smell so good, I can’t believe I mistaken them as my mate’s scent, how foolish.I head back into my room, and it seems as though the cupcake scent is not as strong. My brain is just all muddled.I put on my black and purple suit, fix my hair
