NOBODY MESSES WITH MY WIFE.Ares. I activated the tracker and was able to track Winnifred's location without problems. My bodyguards kept on updating me and they were there when Winnifred was abducted but they were well hidden so they couldn't be seen. Some of them brought the cook and the driver back to the mansion after making sure they hadn't sustained any injuries while the rest of them followed the car that took my wife. When they got to an abandoned warehouse somewhere in the bushes, they stopped and dragged Winnifred out of the car. I could see she was unconscious which meant they had drugged her.It took everything I had not to go there immediately and teach them a lesson they won't forget in a hurry. Based on what that Rose lady told me, they would call to ask for a ransome and I wanted to be there before they did.So when my bodyguards had secured the perimeter, I left my mansion and was on my way to bring my wife back home. I went with another set of bodyguards and left th

OH HOW THE TABLES HAVE TURNED. Winnie.I didn't know what Ares meant until a few seconds later. I hoped it was what I was thinking, I really hoped so.“To your face? What do you mean by that? Don't joke with me Ares”. Amelia replied over the phone. She seemed a little bit scared and I smiled inwardly.“Ohhh Amelia, silly Amelia, I mean why don't you look up and tell me that to my fucking face!!”. Ares shouted and immediately ended the call.A few seconds later, a group of men burst into the room and Ares came in last. He looked at me and I could see pain in his eyes. The ladies were all surprised. They definitely were not expecting this. Who would have known Ares knew about their plan.He immediately took a gun from one of his guards and used it to shoot his secretary on her leg. I flinched at the sound of the gunshot and she let out a loud cry of pain as the gun fell out of her hand.I was glad a gun wasn't pointed at me anymore but I somehow felt for herAres's guards surrounded th

HAD I KNOWN.Amelia.What have I gotten myself into? What exactly was I thinking? Did I forget it was Ares I wanted to mess with? How did he even find out? It was all going so well. How stupid was I to think that Ares would actually come back to me. He made it clear to me the day he ended things with me that he didn't care about me at all. I knew he didn't but hearing him say it was really hurtful. It pains me when I see Ares caring about that lowlife because he never did that when we were together. He was always treating me like I didn't matter to him. Like he was just using me to pass time and I really didn't care at the time because being his girlfriend was really helping my modeling career so why would I care if he cared for me or not.But as time passed by, it began to get to me. People started doubting if we were actually dating or not and I didn't know how to convince them we were together. The day Ares ended things officially with me was one of the worst days of my life. I ne

A VISIT TO THE PRISON. Winnie.I wasn't sure I heard right. She refused my offer? I want to be sure I heard properly.“Why is that, Rose?” I asked her.“As much as the offer is tempting, I don't think I'll be able to work under the same roof as you ma'am. The guilt will be too much for me to bear.I know I'm the reason you were kidnapped in the first place and I'm really happy nothing happened to you.I'm really sorry for my rude behavior that fateful day. I really wasn't thinking straight. I can promise you I'm a changed person but I really can't accept it. I'm sorry ma'am”. She replied, probably crying now. Because she kept on sniffing.“To be honest Rose, I'm really surprised. Many people would have jumped at this opportunity but look at you, refusing it. I'm not mad at you though. I'm just really surprised like I said.Alright, I won't force you to take the job but at least let me show my appreciation. I'm happy to hear that you are now a changed person. Please keep it up. Being

IN PRISON.Rose.My sister looked really terrible. She had bruises all over her body and one of her eyes was purple and was half closed. She was limping and also had a bandage around her head. What could have happened to her? Did the police do this to her? Or was it Ares? When she came close to me and sat down, I picked up the telephone and she reluctantly did the same.“How are you doing? No, that's a stupid question to ask. From the way you're looking, you're obviously not doing fine. Who did this to you sis?” I asked her instead, waiting for her reply. She just held the telephone to her ear but she wasn't saying anything. She couldn't maintain eye contact with me and I don't know why. She kept looking at me through the glass that separated us but she never looked me in the eye.“Was it Ares?” I asked her again. Immediately I mentioned Ares's name, she looked up with force at me, I wondered if her neck didn't hurt from that action and she shivered. It was almost unnoticeable as I a
