Nathan’s povBlind rage filled me after seeing Lexi bloody and unconscious after the accident. My Lycan, Vukas immediately took over my thoughts and had no disregard for the humans who were gasping in horror. After heading to the driver's side door of the person responsible his only thoughts were of Lexi. Ripping the door from its hinges I jerked the bastard from behind the wheel. In hindsight, I should have warned him to back off instead of rearranging his guts I thought as I stood up and wiped my bloody clawed hands on my pants.Nolan said trees and I glanced around the buildings and gritted my teeth as the sirens wailed in the distance.Starting to jog from the wreckage a few humans shouted at me to stop and I shook my head.“I don't think so, peasants,” I growled.Picking up my pace and heading in the direction Nolan had, I stopped by a pool of red blood and cursed.Fearing that Lexi was mortally wounded I searched my back pockets for my cell phone.Grabbing it and seeing the cr

Lexi’s pov“We need to keep our composure, Lexi. If anyone else discovers that they are gone they will attempt to take the Blue Moon Pack,” Nolan said softly.Looking up at him with red-rimmed eyes and my bottom lip trembling I muttered a pathetic, “Okay.”He pecked my forehead and attempted to smile.“Go take a hot shower, Lexi. Everything will be fine. I'm going to try to contact Nathan,” he sighed then helped me to the bathroom.Turning on the shower he glanced at me and groaned.“Sorry about your mom, Lexi. Just know that she was a good woman and my dad loved her very much. She would have wanted you to stay strong,” he stammered firmly.Slower tears fell from my eyes as I gazed up at his stern-filled features.“I'm sorry about your dad too…We got to get Nathan back. The pack needs him just as we do,” I muttered sadly and Nolan nodded briskly.Opening the shower door he told me to get cleaned up.“Take as much time as you need. I have several phone calls I must make,” he announced

Lexi’s povAfter showering once again Nova suggested that I finish the meal Nolan had brought earlier.I sat in my towel and ate the cold meal as Nolan watched me in mild humor.Getting agitated I eyed him covering his smile.“What?!”Shaking his head he mumbled, “You can have my half too if you want.”Sighing I rubbed my eyes and muttered, “ I'm eating for two.”Nolan gasped and rushed to sit by my side.“It can't be mine already, is it Nathan’s?”Nodding my head he hissed and then chuckled.“No wonder you want to get him back,” he said firmly.Giving him a look of disgust I snapped, “He's your brother and he is also my mate!”Running his hands up his face Nolan grunted.“I know Nathan and he will not believe that he knocked you up without burying his knot unless he did…?”Shaking my head I told him that Nathan didn't but that I knew that he had, causing him to grin cockily at me.“It just happens when I mark you, sweetheart,” he said with a smirk.Rolling my eyes I told him that I k

Lexi’s povHearing the door close and not lock. I cracked it open and saw Sloan with several other men standing guard. Shutting it quietly, I waited. Feeling a lump in my throat when the thought of Nolan came to my mind I grew saddened.“I hope his mom doesn't hurt him too badly,” I told Nova.“He will heal, he carries Lycan genes that enhance his healing strength,” she answered.“But his wolf is an ordinary one and his mother is extremely heavy-handed,” I sighed.Nova whined and laid her head down in my mind and told me not to think about it.“How can I not?”“He drugged you and lied about your mother’s death. Are you forgiving him for that,” she asked.Pinching my mouth I thought about what he had told me about never betraying me again and I believed him.“Yeah I do, he is our mate, Nova,” I mumbled softly and she told me that he was but so was Nathan.“Nathan is married and he hasn't marked me yet,” I growled as the door opened once again. It was the doctor bringing in a cart of me

Lexi’s povTwo hours later the door of the cellar opened and light trickled into the dark room.Scowling I watched Sloan enter carrying something in his hands.“You are the last prick I wished to lay eyes on,” I hissed.Tilting his head he nodded and presented a plastic-wrapped tray with meats and cheeses upon it. My stomach growled, making me frown.“I am not thrilled about serving a lowly skank like you either but I value my life and do as my aunt requests. She wants you to eat so her pup is healthy,” he responded blandly.Looking at him aghast I rolled my eyes.“I can't, my hands are both bound and it is MY PUP, not hers,” I gritted out.Gesturing for the large guard to enter, the man headed toward me and unclasped my right wrist.Narrowing my eyes at the exposed bone under the burnt flesh I cringed.“Heal it quickly,” I nudged Nova with my thoughts. She was weak but responded that she would.I watched the skin slowly start to reknit itself over the bone and glanced up at Sloan fro
