He could be sleeping, but I need to confirm that he’s okay, and then I’d let him rest.I peek into the green-themed heaven and pause when I see Lucas.He’s sitting on the edge of his bed, completely still, elbows on his knees and gaze lost in thought.I step in, and he doesn’t seem to notice me.That’s weird.Lucas always notices, even when he pretends not to.I close the door quietly behind me.
