SABINE'S POINT OF VIEW The car screeched to a halt as I parked abruptly by the roadside side breathing heavily as my mind spiraled I had no idea how long I had been driving or on the road for, but I just knew that my fingers were trembling and my knuckles were white I remembered that someone who was me used my own fingers to pull a gun on Dominic, my husband, before I drove off after hijacking this car, was vaguely aware of my surroundings, but was very surprised that he did not seek me outEverything happened in a haze. I looked out the road to see that the car was the only one in sight, the cold, dark night, with the flies, a blanket of stars surrounded me. I licked my cracked lips and swallowed My throat cracked and raged in need of some water, desperately. I looked around in the car, hoping to see some water. I opened the small compartment behind me to see a gun, some knives, and a bottle of water. After drinking it like it would be my last, I drove off the road again, no

SABINE'S POINT OF VIEW She sat in front of me, shaking visibly as I pointed the gun at her. "Start talking," I commanded, making her whimper audibly as she shrank back in her seat. Her posture and demeanor had me thinking about how she and Luciana were so different. While she was soft in her aura, Luciana desperately tried to mirror that, and she failed, but it was a hunch of mine that Luciana thought she was good at fooling people, but she was horrible at it. "What do you want to know?" she asked "I want to know everything from the time of my parents.... and do not try to fool me with that confusion, I know very well that you know exactly who I am." The spark of recognition in her eyes, which she tried to hide, was too evident to ignore "I remember you, I was your mother's nanny and I cooked for you sometimes," she said, avoiding my eyes. "Luciana says she was my nanny and cook, and she never mentioned you, so clarify, " I said " Luciana has always been like that..... as a c

SABINE'S POINT OF VIEW She sat beside me in the car, her entire posture gave off a frightened look as she shook like a kitten in the cold on the seat. I looked at her as I drove before shaking my head, so far I did not think she was lying, but I did not trust her. I looked at the back seat from the mirror to look at the little boy seated there in his car seat, he was a few months old, so he was very much a baby. His pacifier fell, and he started crying. Like she was scared that I would kill him for crying, she bolted out of her seat to pick it up before cleaning it up and placing it back in his mouth. "I'm so sorry, it won't happen again," she whispered as she huddled in the chair as though she wanted it to swallow her up. "I will not eat him, I'm not that much of a monster," I said to her, my focus back on the road. The road was clear, the path to he warehouse was quiet, bereft of cars, it was the perfect place to conduct illegal activities, far from the prying eyes of others.

SABINE'S POINT OF VIEWPRESENT DAYI looked at the papers in my hands, whispering, "It's all really true, I lived a lie." I whispered brokenly as a lone tear slipped down my cheek."You were doubting it?" he asked in a tone that made me think he was asking, but at the same time, he was not. I looked up at him to see that he was suddenly blurry behind the tears that filled my vision. "I don,t know, i guess a part of me hoped it was all a lie, that i was in some cruel dream or some sick prank and the curtains would fall for everyone behind the scenes to come out yelling 'APRIL FOOLS!' even though it is not even april yet but, its really all true" i said and laugyhed humourlessly before licking my lips and adding "I guess this looks pathetic to you" he simply looked at me with a blank face but in those grey eyes that i had come to really like.....I was not sure about love yet, I could see a flash of confusion."What would make you think that, Tesoro? [treasure] he asked me"You know, I

SABINE'S POINT OF VIEWI stood in front of the mirror in my room, barely recognising myself as I smoothed the wrinkles from my dress. My dress was yellow, a bright shade of the colour resembling sunflowers and sunlight. I could smell the scent of mango from my body wash and my lotion. My hair was rolled in soft curls and packed in a beautiful updo that left my full, soft curls falling on my shoulders and down my back.My neck was adorned with dainty gold jewelry, and my ears had the most beautiful gold studs on them in the shape of a rose. My fingers and wrists were also adorned in bracelets and rings, all gold. Dominic always made sure I had an array of jewelry because 'you are my queen, and nothing is too much when it comes to taking care of royalty such as you.'I looked at my lips, I applied soft gloss on them to add to the look. Once I was confident enough in my looks, I turned around to leave the roomMy hand on the door knob stilled as i thought.'Is this the right thing? Should
