The past few days had run mad, terribly to a fault. What felt like better days went sour on the brink. At this time, the cloud bore more water than it could carry, safe to say the sky is pregnant. Naomi’s heart had become clouded with sorrows, now, unbearable. The gestation period doesn't bargain; it has taken her working power, putting her in an unnecessary stay-at-home. A compulsory sacrifice every woman has been making to ensure life and the human race remains, till a day after forever. The world stole her smile. Notwithstanding, she is a good actor who makes masking her stolen smile with another smooth.“Hello, Clara. Are you free for a quick talk?”“How about when I come home?”“Not a bad idea. But….”“Babe, I am attending to a client here, we’ll talk when I reach home.” Clara cuts in and drops the call.Naomi felt a sharp cut slit through her stomach, causing her heart to skip twice. Hot watery stuff escaped her eyes. Her heart felt heavy. It felt like her he

Several rude people have the biggest heart. The world must have pounced on them, staining their beautiful heart, black. But a part of them reserves unreserved kindness.Theresa was quite welcoming. And three of her grown children had come to visit for Easter family time. No dull moment was recorded. The heart-to-heart talk with Naomi was supposed to be between the two. Awkward, awkward, she won’t stand Theresa excusing her grown-ups from the dining table for some story. C'mon, everyone has their story, let's share. Naomi's emotional intelligence was at its peak; she could easily perceive pure hearts and bad eggs. The reason she did not settle for Damian.“Big tummy, that's a long sad story. Don't you think it's high time you travelled far away? Where no eagle eyes could feed on your life and your baby's?” Theresa suggested with a wry line cutting across her cheeks.“How about you go stay with my daughter in Japan? She's not ill-mannered like me. Her father taught her b

The natural tendency for humans to respond swiftly to negative news, strongly controlled by the negativity bias in the brain, made the news spread beyond wildfire speed. The talk of the town came in different versions, both watered down and something close to fake. “The kidnapped girl is Billionaire Damian's Ex-wife.” “I beg you, in the name of whatever bottle you have in your hands, don’t splash your stinky tongue in this case, Mr FakeNews Bankk.”A group of four friends who loved hanging out for an insane number of hours in the evenings to pop bear kept throwing arguments about the top one news in New Jersey.“Son of bitches. Thank God my father wasn't this useless. relieve him of his balls.” Damian whispered above his voice, dragged the last pinch of his cigarette and dumped the stump, stamping his feet to put off the fire.“Any useful information yet?” he demanded raising a brow. One just had to say yes to his every demand or get punched in the face. Damian never takes no for

With both hands tied to the back, her mouth, sealed with a tape, both legs were tied with a heavy short rope that extended to a heavy stone, which was sitting at the bottom of the pull, pulling her weight to the bottom of the pool. She curled into a foetus shape, her blonde hair floating upwards. And the water, calm.Damian forgot to send instructions this time, as he did not know when his heavy legs ran uncontrollably and finally made a huge impact–splash on the pool as he dived into the pool swimming vigorously to the bottom of the pool where Naomi was now floating with her jaw resting on her chest. His heart stopped for a split second; his heart jumped to his throat, and he almost forgot he was underwater as he wanted to shout at Naomi to look up that he was there for her.Even if he did shout, she was too unconscious to have heard him at the time he arrived. He held her by the face with his hands on each side of her chin, lifted it up and it felt stiff. His eyes read the shocking

“Hello, Sir. The culprits behind Naomi’s tragic situation have been reprimanded in police custody.” Damian’s jaw tightened, his fingernails folded, touching his palm; the news should do a thing to him, maybe court a curt-lived smile on his face, or just maybe, hike his thirst for blood. If wishes were horses, he’d give the perpetrators of such outrageous acts a slow-painful death.“Who are they?” He asked, with pain in his voice. And his eyes, colouring brown with anger, flickering, left to right, yet all he could see were imaginations of what the devil's faces should look like.“They’re connected to a long-time incident with Naomi. The reports have it that they came to take revenge after Naomi for running a vehicle over their family member, who unfortunately died in the hospital, 3 days later.”Damian’s eyes brightened, his memories, strong, reeling with an electric current speed to pick out why they came, blood hot for revenge. He had been at the forefront of the mess.A few minute
