**Elijah**"Can you tell me again why we are doing this?" I asked, checking myself out in the mirror, hopefully for the last time."I don't know myself. I just hope there's no drama. Brianna said she wanted all of us to ride together, but fuck that noise. As soon as they start acting up, then we can dip," Zoe said from the bathroom."Do you know where we're eating yet?""Some Italian place. She texted me the name of the place."I checked my watch. We’d be late if we didn't leave the house in the next five minutes."Zoe, let's go. I'm sure you look fine.""All right, all right, Daddy...damn," she whined, coming out of the bathroom."On second thought...let's cancel," I said, practically drooling at her dress."Hell no. I spent two hours straightening my hair; we're going," she said, picking up her clutch."But Mama, I need you.""And you can have me when we get back.""But I need you now," I whined, gripping her delicious curves. "Are you even wearing panties?" I asked."That's a rheto

**Michael**I immediately declined when Brianna asked me to go on a double date with her. I didn't want to spend more time than necessary with her. She'd made up in her delusional mind that I enjoyed her company. She was always calling, texting, or wanting to come over. Not only did I not want her to know where I lived, but she wouldn't have the privilege of entering my home. Brianna wouldn't be around long enough for me to even entertain the idea. I felt that I would have to move if she caught wind of where I lived.Brianna was easy...way too easy if you ask me. Her parents failed her and didn't teach the girl a lick of common sense. I told her I loved her just to fuck with her, and she ate that shit up.How dumb can she be? We don't even know each other. Hell, English knows more about me than she does. The biggest turnoff when it came to Brianna was that she thought she was a porn star in bed. She was as vanilla as it came--logically due to her age and inexperience. I didn't expect

**Zoe**"At least I have parents!"I snapped and knocked Elijah out of the way to get to Brianna. I ripped her heel off and began hitting her. I had already broken a nail and didn't want to break another one, trying to punch her in the face.I glanced up for a split second and saw Michael grinning from ear to ear. In his sick mind, he probably thought that he had two girls fighting over him, and he couldn't be further from the truth because Zoe Ximora Justice wanted nothing to do with him."Zoe, stop!" Elijah yelled, pulling me off of Brianna. I threw the shoe at her once I couldn't physically hit her any longer, hoping it would connect. I was huffing and crying while he tried to calm me down. "Mama, calm down!"Michael was still watching the fiasco go down with a satisfied grin on his face, not even bothering to help Brianna off the floor. "I'm calm," I sighed. "Please let me go.""Okay. I'll release you now. Please don't go after her any longer because, at this point, it's no longer

**Warning - The chapter after this contains an instance of sexual assault****Zoe**"Mama, as wonderful as our time has been together, I can't stay in bed with you for the rest of our lives. I gotta go to work.""I know, Daddy," I sighed. "I'll miss you. I've been spoiled having you all to myself this past week.""I know, but I'm all better now, and I have to get back to reality. We can't have Michael running the business into the ground now, can we? There'll be nothing left for our future children," he teased."Yeah, it's definitely time for you to leave. Get out," I said, pushing him out of bed. He chuckled as he put his clothes on."I knew that would get you to let me go.""Mhmmmm. We don't need that baby talk around here. On another note...when are we going to start field visits?""Probably on Wednesday. I have to see if we have any appointments scheduled, and if there aren't any, then we'll do what Michael does and bullshit the entire day. You can come to the office, but I'm tryi

**Zoe**I groaned as I came to. My entire body felt weak, and my head was pounding. I found myself lying across the backseat with my hands still cuffed behind my back. It took several attempts for me to roll into a seated position. The heaviness of my head caused it to drop forward, and keeping my eyes open was difficult. I peered through the windows; all I could see were trees on both sides of the interstate. I began whimpering at the thought of what was to come. I wouldn't be surprised if Officer Matheson raped, killed me, and threw my body into the woods. No one would know where I was. My decomposed body would probably be found by a hunter and his dog months or years from now. God...what I would give to talk to Eli one last time. Maybe I would even have the courage to tell him that I loved him."I see you're awake. Did you enjoy your nap?"I glared at him through the rearview mirror. "Where are we going?" I asked after a while."To a cabin that my family owns.""What are you planni
