I turned back to her.“Yes?”“I miss you, Auntie. It’s been months since you talked to me. Did I do something? Are you mad at me?”“We talk everyday,” I retorted.“Fine, no, yes, sure, is not ‘speaking’, Scarlett.”“Maybe I don’t want to talk,” I said before walking away.“Osprey’s hurting, too,” she called behind me.I stiffened but didn’t respond as I kept moving. Osprey wasn’t hurting. He was happy. I saw the look on his face every time I worked up the courage to go over there. It hurt me every single time to the point where I didn’t want anything to do with any of them, especially not Elena.
