RAINE’S POV“Hi,” I grinned, stepping aside. He kissed my cheek as he walked in. “Hi.” He took off his coat, tossing it neatly on the couch, and then headed straight for the kitchen. I watched as he rolled up his sleeves, forearms flexing, watch gleaming under the light. God. “What are you doing?” I asked, trailing after him.“Making you dinner,” he said like it was no big deal. “You need to eat.”“You came over for designs,” I teased, leaning against the counter.He smirked without looking at me. “I came over for you.”My heart skipped a beat. Or maybe three. Cyril moved so confidently, grabbing ingredients from my fridge, chopping up onions, and sautéing garlic. The whole kitchen started to smell like something out of a chef’s dream.
