Kael still couldn’t believe he had seen his mate, and that he had even kissed her. The moment kept replaying in his mind. The anger that surged through him when he saw her grinding against another man still burned in his chest. He had wanted to rip the man apart, to tear him limb from limb, but he held himself back. She remained silent the whole walk, as she stole side glances at her father's expression and as usual it was cold, stoic and masked. Sometimes Cassidy wished she just had a less power hungry father and one that’ll care about her. “What?
