—ROME ARCHILLUS’ POV—My wife is acting so strange.I remembered when we were in Italy for her fashion show, she woke me up in the middle of the night to call Cheska to make her her favorite pizza. [“What the f*ck, Archi? It’s 3AM. Make sure it’s important or I will—”]“My wife’s craving for your pizza. She wanted it now—”[“Mama mia! Can’t it wait later—”]“I’ll give you my yacht you've been eyeing before just…” I looked at Alora Eunice who was looking at me, patiently waiting on our bed. “… just make her one.”Cheska immediately changed her tone and I heard her going out of bed—excited from what she heard from me. [“I’ll make it delivered in an hour,”] she said, maybe preparing to do it now.“Thanks.”But Alora Eunice requested another one. She wanted to watch it so I messaged Cheska that we’re heading there. Cheska offered me hot tea and sat beside me while my eyes were still glued to my wife, excitedly waiting in front of the oven. “What’s with her, huh?” Cheska asked, sippin

—ALORA EUNICE’S POV—“How could you do this to my brother?!” Raña’s voice roared in the hallway. Half of my face felt so numb because of the slap I received from her. Tears fell on my cheek as my knees weakened. I looked at the horrible photos of me and Oliver kissing, inside his car, going inside his condo, and other things that I can’t remember we did. “Archi, needs to know this! I will tell him, you b*tch!”I looked at her—eyes widened in fear. I should be the one to tell him. “N-No… No, Raña! Please… this is not true. Let me explain—” I tried stopping her but she pulled her arm to free herself from my grip.“The photos are clear evidence that you cheated on him! You liar!”“Raña, wait! Please… Raña!” I was crying, trying to explain my side but her mind was already set. I followed her until we reached the stairs and an unexpected thing happened, she misstepped and fell on the ground floor. I was in shock, and couldn't move immediately but I followed her downstairs when I recove

—ROME ARCHILLUS’ POV—I feel like a ticking bomb that will explode at any moment. I stepped on the gas, rushing my sister Raña to the nearest hospital—DH Hospital.“She’s cheating on you! Gosh, that b*tch–”“Shut up, Raña,” I said, gripping the steering wheel tightly. “And you’re still defending her, huh?” She said, growling due to her injury. “She pushed me. I hate her! She’s a b*tch cheating on you like your f*cking ex—”“I said, shut up!” I couldn’t help but to raise my voice. I couldn’t breath properly and my chest started tightening. F*ck.We safely arrived in the hospital but when I helped push Raña’s stretcher, my sight became blurry until the surroundings slowly faded in my view. I felt my body on the cold floor, hardly catching my breath, heart racing too fast. ——“Love… Love. Good morning, Love.” Her voice is like cotton candy—soft and sweet. I really love whenever she wakes me up in the morning. “Good morning,” I said, reaching for her lips. “Love, can you teach me how

—ALORA EUNICE’S POV—Five years later…“Mom, it’s 5AM. You're gonna be late for your event today.”I woke up because of that little voice. I haven’t opened my eyes yet but I smiled, reaching for him. “Good morning, baby,” I said in a hoarse voice.“I’m not a baby anymore, Mom. Wake up!” He said, pulling me out of bed. “Mommy needs a kiss before she wakes up,” I said, teasing him.“Mom…” I heard him sighed and kissed me on the cheek. I opened my eyes and the first thing I saw was his little face looked exactly like his father. Gosh… no feature of me. He’s a carbon copy of Archi. My four-year-old boy grew so fast, and he also acted like an old man. What a smart kid he is.“Uncle Evan arrived, he’s cooking breakfast,” my little Archi said while I’m getting my clothes in the cabinet. “Can we buy books when you’re away?”“We just bought you a dozen books last week,” I said.“But I already finished everything, mom. I wanted encyclopedias, not a children’s book. Or what about business stu

—ALORA EUNICE’S POV—I was crying while packing our things.I don’t want to waste anymore time. “Are you sure you’re going with Archi? I can take care of him while you’re away,” Evan asked, worried.“No. I will take him. I don’t know how long we will stay there. And… and I want him to meet my grandma.”“Okay. I will go with you,” Evan said.“How about Raña?” I asked.“How about her?” Evan frowned, probably didn’t want to talk about her.“You’ll leave her—”“I will go too,” Raña said, suddenly appearing while pulling her luggage.Thankfully, we easily booked plane tickets and after hours, we were boarding in the commercial plane.“Mom, are we going to your home country?” Archi asked, sitting near the window.“Yes, love.” “Why?”“We’re visiting your great grandma. She’s sick.”“Is she dying?” He asked, innocently. My eyes became watery again.“Kiddo, you should sleep. We will travel for hours.” Evan changed the topic.“Okay,” Archi said, and I put a blanket on him. This is the first t
