Candice's POVI drove home, got ready and an hour later, Adrianna was here. I almost bawled when I saw her, so happy that I rushed into her arms.“Hey!” She looked so pretty and so shocked that I was hugging her like that but what could I do when I had absolutely nobody? Even at that, she's still the best ever!“Thank you for coming!” I responded, grinning so hard I thought my cheeks would burst.“I heard what happened. I'm so sorry. I brought drinks and pizza!” I couldn't be more grateful that she even made time out to really come visit. I want her to be my sister like this, it's so insane. She dragged me to the couch, and we spent a lot of time watching nostalgic movies and eating away our lives. She shared a lot about her childhood and even though she was spewing out traumatic things, she still made it funny. I'm going to propose to her and beg her to be my sister at this point. I've already been itching for a sister before Sierra came along, and after a while, I started hating on

Candice's POVI looked up at him. He was serious. But then, I also meant it.I lowered myself to the ground even though it hurt, and I begged further.“Please, take me back. I am so so sorry.”His smile was wide as he ordered me to stand up and never kneel for him again.“I feel so easy right now.” He said, smiling at me as he pulled me up.I wanted to speak but he spoke before I could.“But first, before I agree, you'll have to agree to my next demand. It might be outrageous to you, but it's the only way I'll take you back.”“What? What demands do you have? Anything at all.” I was more than ready even though I got a bit nervous. He came closer, touching my skin for the first time in a way that teased me as he held on to my hands.“Let me kiss you right here.”Oh. My. God. His hands migrated to my waist as he slowly took me to the wall, placing my back against it.“Let me hold your hands and kiss you in public, right now. That's the only way I'll believe you're improving at getting

Trey's POVYou can't convince me that I'm not currently living my best years. The woman of my dreams wants me as bad as I want her. How did I even get this lucky? She's even moving in with me.I wanted to drive to a secluded place and just keep screaming in happiness.Breaking up with her was pretty hard, and I was depressed as fuck, but now that's in the past.Today, I got a very distressing call from Ian. He told me to meet him at his place, that it was urgent. I kissed my girlfriend goodbye as she was still asleep, and I left, leaving her a message letting her know where I'll be in case she got curious or worried. When I arrived at his castle mansion, I was let in, and I met him sitting on an island stool by the kitchen island. He looked rather distraught. I haven't seen him for a while now, so I was pretty shocked by his demeanor.“Ian.” I called out to him, as he was seemingly lost in thoughts. I had to call out to him one more time before he straightened up, noticing and acknowl

Trey's POVApparently the short period of time I left Candice to speak with Ian at the wedding, someone, a guy she spoke to briefly, spiked her drink. Unfortunately for him, she's with me right now, not him, and I will fucking look for him. That's not even the most serious problem right now. When we reached her place, she seemed to be doing better, and we came down together almost robotically.I was heavily ready to take care of both of our needs for the rest of the day until we reached the doorstep. A box was there. We both wondered what it was although Candice was so out of it, dragging me with her inside and telling me to leave the box, but I just couldn't. Something was odd about it.So I checked, and right inside, was a sleeping baby at one side, some formulas, clothes, diapers, bottles, you name it.At first I was startled, but I checked again and the baby was really there. It was when I told Candice and she checked that she gasped in horror, her eyes widening in disbelief. Her

Candice's POVTrue to Trey's words, Sierra really came back. She just strolled right in, completely shocking me. This is someone I've been looking for everywhere. She didn't even say hi to me.“Give me my child back.” She demanded as I opened the door. All I could feel from her was raw, pure hate. What did I ever do to her? My heart sank.“You won't even come in–”“Are you deaf, Candice? Give me my child back.” I rushed, no other option, and I handed her child back to her with the box.“Don't hurt the baby, please. Don't take your anger out on it.” I begged softly, hoping she'd listen but she rolled her eyes and glared at me like I'm some idiot.“I will obviously never hurt my child. I never hurt the people I love.” Right. She was indirectly telling me that she had never loved me a day in her life.Whatever. She left to God knows where, but I will start watching her and that baby until I'm sure it's safe. Trey was upstairs so I went to share the news with him, but I met him in a weird
