Aria's POV I tried to open my eyes, but the blinding ache behind them wouldn’t let me. It felt like someone had swung a hammer to my skull. I lay there for a moment, breathing through the pounding in my head, letting my eyes adjust to the sunlight seeping through the curtains.The light was too bright, like it had a vendetta against me.
