บททั้งหมดของ You’re Courting Me?! (MxM): บทที่ 21 - บทที่ 30

I keep on saying this, but I am not dumb. Even as I see it, my brain still cannot comprehend the amount of power Aronohai Miyamura has. Not physically or materially. Not even working at the company or seeing his family home has helped me in understanding it. Because it makes no sense. How is he that powerful? How are the Aronohais so wealthy?. And if he’s so powerful, why does he humor me so much?. He calls me his pet, yet he doesn’t treat me as something less than human. He threatens me, yet he never goes through with it. He gets pissed at me, but doesn't act on it. Everything he does is contrary!. And I know what he can do! It’s nerve-wracking knowing that he could do anything if he wanted to, he could do literally anything but for some reason, he just chooses to do nothing. I challenge him, I even banter with him. Me, an omega!. And he doesn’t punish me or harm me in any way. That’s practically unheard of. No omega with any common sense would give him the same attitude I

“What happens at Takahashi’s parties?”. I don’t even give Saeko a minute to breathe. The moment Miyamura and I walk through the doors of the building, I spot her immediately. Or rather, we make immediate eye contact, the expression on her face barely changes when she sees me. She just twitches slightly. Oh, I would hate to play poker with her. I calmly relay my intentions to leave to Miyamura, then walk up to her, interlock our fingers, and drag her back to the female restroom and lock the door. If she made any noise of protest, I heard none. Let’s tie all loose ends here. “Why do you want to know this?”. I level her my most unimpressed glare. Is this how Miyamura feels when I ask dumb questions?. “What would keeping this information even do for you right now?”. Don’t be dumb Saeko. She sighs and rubs her face, “I should not have told you this, you are too nosy Sorahiko”. She glares right back at me. “Nosy? I’m nosy?”, I stare at her in disbelief. Who was the one for

“Aronohai Miyamura doesn’t seem to be happy with you”. “What is this? Are we playing ‘I told you so’ Saeko?”. Yes, we are once again locked in the female restroom, and this time Saeko was the one to drag me in. I’m not a creep, it’s just common sense. “That would be correct, seeing as I did in fact tell you so”. Isn’t she just a bundle of joy? “Well, at least he didn’t hurt you”.She mutters, leaning against the door of a stall. “I thought it looked that way to everybody”. Maybe she’s psychic. Because it certainly didn’t feel that way. “I think I know what an alpha hurting an omega looks like, thank you…”, She sighs. “Only a fool like Takahashi would believe such bullshit”. “Oh…”. It’s not like there’s a suitable reply to that statement. Thank the heavens for whoever invented ‘Oh’s. “Frankly speaking, I think you should let it go”. She straightens up to stare me down. “Aronohai seems to already have a plan of action”. “And how are you so sure his plan will be in your interes

Miyamura has lived for twenty-four years, and he can never say he has bowed his head to anyone in apology before. Neither has he ever found himself running to do anything. And it would have remained so if he had never hired Sorahiko. That goddamn problem child. What part of ‘don’t do anything’ does he not understand?. Even if he never said it out loud, Sorahiko should have understood what he was aiming for. He made it so bloody obvious. What kind of secretary can’t pick up on unspoken cues?. Sorahiko of course. That damn omega. ____ Barging into Takahashi’s office and seeing him strangle Sorahiko against the wall was something. I completely blanked out. Sorahiko was not moving. Sorahiko was not moving. Someone was touching what is mine. Takahashi was killing my secretary. I didn’t hesitate to rip Takahashi off him, nor did I bother to control my strength. I must have crushed his arm when I pulled him. He’s lucky I didn’t just rip it off. Sorahiko fell. I cau

“What do you mean? I hired you to be my secretary Sorahiko”. This is actually quite confusing. He tries to avert his gaze again, but I keep my grip on his chin firm. He’s not escaping till I understand whatever he is talking about. “Y..yes you did, I’m sorry sir…I’m just speaking nonsense”. Like hell. “Sorahiko”. His name falls like a snarl from my lips. He stiffens under my touch, his body tense like a spring. “I thought I told you not to anger me?”. He seems to deflate at that, then he starts speaking quietly. “I am not good at my job, and I keep on making mistakes…”. He’s not stuttering, and his pheromones smell resigned. I don’t like that scent. “I keep on offending you sir, but you don’t punish me”. “What do punishments have to do with your position as my secretary?”. I can not help but sound genuinely confused. It takes a moment, because I can see him still struggling to put the words together. Then he finally speaks, “I am bad at my job, and I am impertinent, but you
