"Mona? What are you doing here?" Kyra demanded. Without replying, Mona moved aside to reveal an elegant elder woman wearing a black sheath dress. Her hair is neatly tied into a bun. Pearls adorned her ears and neck. She looked sophisticated and kind. "Kyra, she is my aunt, Linda from my previous pack. She was missing me, so i invited her over" Mona explained. "Hello Luna" Linda greeted politely unlike Mona. "Hello Linda, welcome to the Silvershade pack. Please make yourself comfortable" Kyra replied in the same tone Linda used. Nathan arrived at that moment. Mona gave him a confused look. "Warrior Nathan? What brings you here?" Mona questioned. "I called for him. You should go and take care of your aunt" Kyra dismissed Mona, who looked angry. Nathan entered the study and closed the door after him. "Luna? You look troubled" Nathan noticed. He helped to put the toppled chair back to its original place. But Kyra didn't sit down. She didn't feel like it. She is feeling restless

That night, Kyra couldn't sleep. Everything that happened in the training grounds kept haunting her. Kaiser didn't blame her. That made her feel more guilty. She couldn't stay in her room. Instead, she decided to take a walk around the pack to clear her head. Just when she went outside the packhouse, she found Nathan standing there, as if waiting for someone. "Warrior Nathan? What are you doing here?" she inquired. Nathan sighed heavily. "Luna, do you want to know about your mother?" he asked suddenly. Kyra was stunned to hear that question. Since childhood, whenever she asked about her mother, her father avoided the topic. She only saw an old picture of her mother in the attic once. "You know my mother?" Kyra asked with surprise. Nathan nodded, looking solemn. "The Alpha found from a human town. They were happy for five years. But one night....." Nathan was interrupted by Dane. "Kyra? What are you doing here?" Dane inquired while coming out of the pack house. Kyra igno

"Dane, are you crazy? Let me go" she struggled to break free. But he is holding with a bruising grip. The fact that she can smell Mona's scent on Dane made her feel his touch repulsive. He is shameless to do this with her still smelling of another woman. "Kyra, stop struggling. You are behaving as if you were not begging for this for years. When I am here to make you mine, why are you behaving like this? I am sure you must be shy. But don't worry, I will make you feel good" Dane said ignoring her struggle. She is saying no but he is not understanding, or he doesn't want to understand. He let her go inside the bathroom where he started to undress her. He is literally tearing at her clothes. "Dane, stop it" Kyra snapped at him and pushed him away with all her might. She started to feel the now familiar feeling near the center of her chest. She is breathing heavily with anger. Dane looked startled. "What does this means Kyra? You are my Luna. Its your duty to serve your Alpha" D

The next morning, as the golden rays of sun started to peek from the clouds, Kyra woke up feeling content. What's more, she heard a purr from Asana from inside her head. 'If we could wake up like this every day, then i am sure I can regain my full strength in no time' Asana murmured happily. A smile stretched on Kyra's face. She is surrounded by warmth. Not the kind of warmth from blankets. This feels good. An arm is wrapped around her waist. Slowly she turned to face the warmth, only to freeze mid turn. She recollected everything from last night. Dane, and then Kaiser. And how she ended up allowing Kaiser to have his way with her. Her eyes flashed open with panic. Sure enough, Kaiser is lying beside her. "Dane" she gasped and sat up at once. Kaiser groaned with displeasure. "You were lying beside me all night with my mark on your neck, but the first thing you remember after waking up is him?" he muttered with annoyance. She looked at herself and at Kaiser. They both are nake

'Save our sister' a demand so strong rang inside Kyra's head. Kyra doubled over with searing pain inside her head. She thought the witch she met and the witch who is currently being burned in the pier is the one who was controlling her. But something is wrong. 'Asana, help' Kyra requested her wolf's help. She is feeling as if the witch who is compelling her is trying to break her head apart from inside out. The pain is so strong, that it blinded her vision, all Kyra could feel in her head is the pain and loud buzzing like sound as if something is trying free. 'Kyra, fight it. Once she gains control over us, we can never get it back. Everyone we love will be dead. Fight it' Asana sounded as if she is speaking from some deep dark place at the very back of Kyra's head, which is remote and almost unreachable. Everyone is watching the witch being burned, no one noticed Kyra who was stumbling away from there blindly. 'Save our sister' the witch is pushing forward so hard, that Kyra sl
