POV AceI smirked as I watched my love look around uncomfortably. I knew that she didn't like this situation. She didn't like being in charge and she really didn't like being the only one speaking but this was the way it had to be. I had to see how she would approach this. I knew that this plan had come from her. How could it not? She didn't want to harm us and this was a perfect way to stop that. Not that I didn't believe her and Nat about the Ravens. POV: Petal/AthenaI glanced at Joker and then at Jaden who both shot me brief, weak smiles and then went back to glaring at Ace, Viper and Shooter. Viper nodded at me and tried to look comforting as the other two shot glares back at Jaden and Joker.It was several days after the meeting and we were hiding around the corner from one of the Raven's warehouses. POV Petal/AthenaI shot a nervous look to Margo and she nodded calmly to me as we walked into our different rooms. I just couldn't shake the bad feeling I had. Margo and Nat seemed confident though so I trusted them and went along with the plan. I looked at the two girls in the beds in the room as the door shut behind me. I tried not to react but it was difficult. These girls were 15 but they were smaller than most ten year olds. Obviously malnourished and they were tiny even under all the blankets that seemed to be piled on top of them. They both glanced at me fearfully before dropping their eyes to the floor. My soul wept for them.
