บททั้งหมดของ Captured by an Alpha Daddy for Christmas (18+): บทที่ 81 - บทที่ 90

There's a small black bracelet in some sort of box. That's the only thing I see in my dream throughout the entire afternoon of sleep—it’s evening now. Unlike the usual wolves and full moon dreams, this one feels peaceful, like there's no evil around it but it's trying to tell me something. “Belle?” Jaxon's soft voice pulls me out of a deep sleep. I stretch and yawn, taking in a deep breath that surges me completely awake. I smile as I bat my lashes at him, his handsome face entirely in my view. “You shaved.” I pout. He chuckles and rubs my hair. “It was growing too thick but don't worry, it'll grow back pretty fast,” he murmurs seductively, leaning down to kiss me on the cheek. “I've got something for you.” He helps me sit up and then sits beside me. I yawn again, my limbs trembling a little. “Really? What's that?” I look around him and notice he's been hiding something behind his back. He can't hide his grin and it's making me more anxious. I beam as he gets up and pul

The bracelet keeps flashing in my head like a faulty signal as Noah and I step out onto the sidewalk. The morning air is colder than usual, and the neighborhood is usually quiet. I’d told Noah I needed to stretch my legs—but the truth is, I just couldn’t sit still with how anxious I’m feeling from everything. So here I am, walking beside him, paying half mind to what he's saying. Snowie trots happily between us on her leash. She's strangely fond of Noah, like she’s known him before or something. Well, I guess she can sense his welcoming spirit. He's the kind of Dad I would have wanted growing up. He didn't let me carry any of the big boxes because I was pregnant—not that I was really showing yet. As we walk further down, I sneak glances at him, wondering why I’d seen that bracelet in my dream—something he'd made for his little girl whom he never got to see. My chest is tight with trapped breaths, like someone's trying to tell me something, but it's all in puzzles. The orpha

The room feels smaller now, the air thick with anticipation and the faint tang of excitement. I’ve barely touched my soda while Jaxon finishes his whole beer, one hand wrapped protectively around me as he watches the hypersexual couple in front of us. “Okay! Let’s do this!” Vee belches after downing a shot of vodka Johnny has poured her. He takes two shots and shakes his head. I’m not drunk, but I feel woozy from the tension. A sharp breath leaves me when Vee turns off the single lamp by the bedstand. Now there are only slivers of moonlight slicing through the curtains, turning everything shadowy. My pulse hammers in my ears, louder than the bass still thumping downstairs. It feels like we are in a different party—a much weirder one. Jaxon moves with me to sit back on the couch, his muscular thighs spread wide as he pulls me between them so my back presses to his chest. “Oh, he’s ready,” Vee giggles to her boyfriend, and he giggles back—they are clearly wasted. They both stag

It's a cool evening. I just had a nice dinner with two of Noah’s old friends. Jaxon is still in the living room chatting and watching rugby with the three older men, probably arguing about rival teams—you know, men stuff. I didn't want to interrupt that by pulling Jaxon away. In fact, I wanted to be alone. I’m not sad or upset, It's just that I've just been thinking too much about the past few days. There’s this weight in my chest—too many unanswered questions, too many dreams without meaning. And for some reason, I still can't get over the visit to the orphanage days ago. Everything Becky said is still stuck in my head, replaying over and over. Aunt May has always been open about everything with Sally and me. I don't think there are any secrets between us, so it's bothersome that she kept a somewhat huge part of her life a secret. Why? I sigh and pick up my phone to call her, telling myself I'm just going to wish her a happy new year and not ask questions. Whatever sh

The peppery taste of the delicious chicken soup Jaxon made me warms me up—my taste buds are suddenly working again. I take more sips, letting the salty, savory broth soothe the ache in my body. My head still feels light, my limbs sore from the last couple of days. It’s been nearly hell—the blood transfusions, the unbearable fever, and the suffocating scent of Doctor Mara’s cabin.Thankfully, it's all over now. I made it out alive.Jaxon has refused to give me the details of what happened while I was unconscious, no matter how many times I ask. Although I've been told I'm in much better condition—my pup too—I still feel very worried. Also, my weird dreams haven't stopped, and I try to force myself to believe they’re just hallucinations brought on by our pup. There's no need to worry Jaxon about them. As long as there's no bloody full moon... or Kaar.I've also noticed how Noah has been… strangely quiet these past few days. But of course, he's always very supportive, just quieter than u
