DOMINICK’s POV,My body froze when Lucian’s hand came in contact with the bulge underneath my pants. I didn’t even realise I was that hard until he made me feel it and now I couldn’t stop myself from feeling that way.The way he kissed me, the way he touched me, the way he made me feel. It was electric, it was magnetic in its own way.Lucian slowly pulled away from me but his hand remained on my bulge, how I wanted him to stroke me and relieve me of the pleasurable pain I was experiencing right now.“You look like you are about to lose your mind,” his words rang in my head, “tell me, dimples. What do you want”“Nothing” I lied, shrugging, “I do not—“Your hand is saying something else”That was when I looked down and I realized my hand was placed on his.Fuck!! I keep embarrassing myself every time in front of him. He would end up thinking I was a pervert.“It was a mistake, I didn’t—“Shhh” Lucian shushed me as a mischievous glint appeared in his eyes. He was about to do something s

DOMINICK’s POV,I could feel him shake even as I held him in my hands which was a bit surprising. This is the most unsettled I have seen Lucian ever since I knew him. Lucian always had his shit together but today, right now he had a lot going on in his head.“What happened?” I asked as I pulled away from him, “why do you look pale?”“I just got a slight headache,” he answered, “but I will be fine, okay? I will see you when I get back”With a little kiss on my lips, Lucian turned and made his way back to the car and in no time, he zoomed off.I stood there for a while, wondering what may have gone wrong. He looked so happy this morning and now—My phone chose that moment to ring and Marie’s name popped up. I immediately pushed the thought of Lucian to the back of my head, hoping to return to it later but as we began to talk, it totally disappeared.“How’s your trip going?” She asked from the other end of the line.“It’s going good,”“Hmmm, I see” I could feel the sarcasm dripping from

DOMINICK’s POV.I didn’t stop until I was out of the warehouse. My throat felt tight and I badly wanted to vomit. I would never be able to get over what I had just witnessed inside. The fact that he looked into my eyes and told me he was going to kill themNo matter how much I thought about it, it made no sense to me. How could he talk about killing someone like that. It was like Lucian didn’t care about their lives even in the least.“You look as white as a ghost” a familiar voice rang in my head and I looked up to see the other man, the one I have been seeing around him lately.“That’s just the tip of the iceberg and you are already scared?”“What do you guys do here?” I couldn’t help but ask him, “are you guys a part of the mafia or something?”He laughed, one filled with sarcasm and mockery. He may be used to this but I have never been in that kind of a situation before—my insides churned with the thought of this.“If you are not bold enough to watch this, do you think you are qua

LUCIAN’s POV.“Say the word and I will do it for you, dimples” I continued to cajole him, “anything at all”“I do not want anything” he muttered but didn’t move. His gaze was softening with each passing second and I knew it was only a matter of time before we were finally over this conversation. I just needed to push him a little more“You know I hate you right?" Dominic asked and I nodded.“Like the very air that you breathe. Yes”Before I could say jack, he yanked me closer and claimed my lips in a vigorous manner. He was kissing me like he had been starved of it in his past life and I didn’t back down either. I snaked my hand around his waist and deepened the kiss, allowing our tongues to dance together inside our mouth.“Fuck!” I muttered under my breath as I pulled him closer but in that moment, the doorbell rang and the two of us froze. The time was already past 9 and someone was at my door. I had a feeling I already knew who that was but I didn’t want to believe it:“Are you ex

DOMINICK’s POV.I jumped up with a start, thinking I lost Lucian again but he was lying beside me, sleeping peacefully. For a few seconds, I kept looking at him, wondering about him. Last night we talked extensively and late into the night. He didn’t tell me everything I needed to know but at least he was tired. At least I knew a few things about the man I was actually in love with. From all the things he told me, the one that really got to me was the part where he said he always found it hard to sleep at night. Many people wouldn’t believe that because everyone saw him as an unreachable human but seeing him sleep close to me like this filled me with a kind of peace I didn’t know I had inside of me.With a tiny smile, I pressed a kiss on his forehead before pulling my body out of bed and making my way towards the balcony. I had a lot on my mind and maybe this was the best time to clear it. Yes, I fell in love with Lucian when I thought I wouldn’t but then I knew there was a whole lot
