~~~DIANA~~~My body feels like it's floating somewhere far away from my brain. Literally.My legs are still getting the aftershock spasms every few seconds, clenching around the sweet and agonizing emptiness Cairo's dick left inside me. I can feel his cum still dripping out of me, drenching my shorts and running against his pants.It's messy and uncomfortable, but I don't want to move. I don't want to break whatever this is between us.His arms are still around me and his fingers are drawing dreamy circles on the skin of my back. The windows are fogged up from the mind-bending steamy session we just had. His hair is messy from all the wreck we just did to each other.He's watching me with those sleepy grey eyes, waiting for me to finally ask my question.I finally take a deep breath. "What happens now? With her, I mean. With Sienna."He goes quiet for a second, his jaw clenching as he stares at the fogged-up glass. "Don't have a road map for that yet, Diana. I’m still trying to pro
My head is totally forgotten against the car window while we roll through the gates of Summerlin. I pulled Leo off a vacation he's on just to give me a 3D of this ring. But my house is a war zone now, and I don’t even have a fucking gun.Mom and Sienna are bonding right under my nose. My mind hasn't been able to digest that fact. It’s like they’ve all formed one happy family of three, willing to fight for each other against me. There has to be some kind of spell she’s using.The car stops in front of a ridiculous fortress made of glass and stone. Alec opens my door with that blank face he does so well, like watching his boss slowly implode is just another business Monday.I get out and look around. Haven't been here since I was twenty-three, when my dad dragged me along to pick out a diamond that would make my mom forget he missed their anniversary celebration. Leo’s already walking toward the gate, looking annoyingly fresh in a white shirt and shorts; the glass in his left hand i
She works the buttons off my shirt, down to the last one, and she drags the fabric to the side, enough for me to see her nipples tight. Then her hands start working on my zipper, trying to undo the button of my pants.I slap her hand away before she takes my cock in her hand; I ain’t got time for that. I push her back onto the bed. She lands on it with wide, surprised eyes. Her legs are already spread before me, but I shove them wider apart without pretending. I just line up and push in with one rough stroke. She gasps like I just hit her soul.Fuck. This is so wrong.I’ve got this intense, sick feeling in my stomach. She’s warm. Too fucking wet already. But my chest feels like someone’s kneeling on it. I move in, hard and aggressive, pushing her deeper into the bed with rough strokes. Every time I look at her face, I feel worse.She claps both hands over her mouth, trying to stay quiet. Her eyes are already wet and she’s taking it real good."God," she breathes out. "I missed t
7 DAYS LATERThe black sedan moves through Johannesburg traffic. I’m stuck in the back, observing the chaos happening outside. People selling shit from carts. Some old women balancing baskets on their heads. Little bit lively, somehow dusty too.I see a kid no older than twelve weaving between cars holding up a tray of sunglasses. The sight almost jerks me off my seat. I can’t stop wondering what a kid that age is doing walking in between moving cars, but it’s usually this way. We’re stuck in traffic and I feel like stepping out of this damn car, lifting it to my head, and maybe finally moving it to the airport myself.I’ve been gone for seven days. Smiling at diamond brokers who laugh like we’re buddies, but I see blood in their eyes. Seven days of missing her so bad my ribs are starting to hurt. We talk every night on video calls until she passes out on me. She fell asleep on me twice this week, and I keep watching her breathe without hanging up. I’m so pathologically in love,
Her face breaks, but she still looks at me.I hate myself for the words I'm spewing, but my chest is burning with so much rage I feel like snapping her neck, just to end this nightmare.My hands rest on each side of the wall, caging her."So tell me, Sienna, can you do that for me?"She just keeps staring at the floor, like I'm the villain trying to scare her away.My body shakes with a bitter laugh."This is all you've ever wanted, right? That's what you wanted from the minute you walked into that courtroom.""That's not true, Cairo!""Isn't it?""You didn't come back for Skye. You came back for me.""You came back because you saw the tiniest opportunity to sneak back into my life and you took a grab of it."Heavy tears run down her cheeks. I should feel remorse, but my heart feels numb."I came back because I still love you, Cairo!”"That's not love! That's you refusing to let go of something that died five years ago.""You wanna know the real truth, Sienna? Well, here it is."My fa
