The Bad boy of Pine Creek: My biker lover のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 171 - チャプター 180

~Aston's POV~ "FIRE! FIRE! FIRE!" someone screamed. I glanced up, paralyzed. The room on fire was ....our bedroom! Maddy! Maddy was still trapped in there! I broke into a run! The only thought in my mind was....finding her! "Aston! get back here!" I heard my dad's voice calling me. I didn't heed him. No one was going to stop me from getting to her. Not even the fire itself. I ran through the house up to the room. When I got there, the fire was bristling through the open door. I couldn't see shit. Smoke and flames engulfed everywhere. "Maddy!" I screamed! "Can you see her!?" Came Cody's voice. I didn't even know he had been behind me. I wanted to surge through the fire. I really did. But it was burning so hot. I hesitated. Like a fucking coward, I hesitated. The thought of Maddy in there....made me almost leap. Cody caught me by the waist before I could jump in. "We gotta go! We gotta go!!" Cody yelled as the fire burst out of

Aston’s POV “What the fuck are you talking about? Who are you?” I asked. His face seemed familiar, but I couldn’t place him yet. I knew he worked at school, but the way he acted was as if we were close friends. “Why were you following me?” “Of course I was. We have plenty of work to do!” he said. He walked into the room, stalking toward me. “Oh, boy, I don’t know if your memory’s a blessing or a curse right now.” “What are you not telling me?” I asked him. He couldn’t just walk in here, drop the bomb about Maddy, and expect me to stay calm. I could tell he was bristling with words, too. “Your Maddy is still alive. Or at least, I believe she is.” “And how do you know that?” He pulled out a tape recorder from his pocket. “Because I heard your father make the plans for the attack.” What? “Why would my father do that?” He put down his hand. “What do you remember about our meetings?” “I don’t even remember you, sir! I don’t know who you are.” He shook his head, his jaws harden

~Aston's POV~ "What are you doing down here?" Dad asked in a clear-cut voice. It sends shivers down my spine. "I was just....looking for something!" I said, closing the door behind me. He came closer, threw the door open and switched on the light. "It's alright, you can go ahead and look for whatever it is you came to find!" Dad said, almost a challenge. I took a quick peek around. The basement was empty except for discarded boxes full of forgotten household stuff. No Maddy, no dungeon. Damn. "Did you find it!?" Dad asked, cutting me with that eye of his. I shook my head. "No." "Good, now that we've settled that. Come along, I think it's time you actually find out the truth about yourself!" He threw a hand around my shoulders, pulling me along. "Where are we going!?" "You'll see!" We walked down the stairs to the garage where his driver opened the doors for us. We drove off. I sat in the back seat quietly while Dad lit a cigar. He puffed a few blow

Aston’s POV “Wow, look at you, you are about to be a man!” Dad said, stepping into my room. He was wearing a tuxedo; his gray hair was combed to the front magnificently. He looked almost human! I stood in front of the mirror, staring at my own suit. My black tie flew around in the wind. Dad came up to pin it down with a tie clip. He brushed hair off my shoulders. “You don’t look too happy on what is supposed to be your wedding day! The best day of your life!” Dad said. He seemed so unfazed by the shooting at the warehouse. That was the one memory I wish I could wipe from my mind. If I closed my eyes, I could still replay it in my head: the Devils leaping out of the car, Dad throwing himself on him, the vandals who was shot dead as we escaped. Hank, I think he was called. My hands were still shaking but my dad was already unfazed. He seemed more focused on linking the resources of the Williams family with ours. I have no idea why else he was pushing for this marriage so ha

Maddy’s POVAston folded me into his arms, protectively. The man approached silently, predatorily. He was intimidating. Scarier than Dexter.I saw the VANDALS tattoo on his upper shoulder. A gold chain dangled from his neck. He had an aura of power, fearsome and deadly.“Who are you? What are you doing here?” I asked.I checked on Maddy who was shivering beside me. She clearly knew him and she was scared of him. I couldn’t even bear to think of what he had done to her all this while. The man stood dangerously still, his eyes observing us. “You must be Aston Chadwick. Man, I feel like I know almost everything about you,” he said.Hearing my name come out of his mouth chilled me. Goosebumps crossed all over my body.“And you are?” I asked. He pulled up the chair beside the table and settled before us, crossing his legs. His boots clacked against one another. He lit his weed, puffed the smoke in the air. All silently. Calculating. Like he’s trying to make us shit our pants. I saw the gun
