บททั้งหมดของ Falling under the irresistible charm of his stepdad : บทที่ 41 - บทที่ 50

Hades If I needed any confirmation that I was on the right track, it was on my desk in front of me. It was as if the universe was spreading a royal red carpet for me. I couldn't believe it happened just once and there was already proof of my potency. But then again, I have never given much thought to being a father. For as long as I could remember, I had dreamt about what I would do when I became Alpha and now I was too busy trying to build my empire. Fuck! I have never thought about adding children to the picture. If it hadn't been for Alpha Jones, I would never have wasted my energy or time trying to procreate. I was grateful that Gwen had never gotten pregnant over all these years, and if she had made that mistake then I would have told her to abort it. Personally, I despise babies. They are messy, noisy, smelly, and demanding for excess attention. Children weren't much better either. Still, I turned out all right. No thanks to Hunter and his lame attempts to cuddle me. I work

Amelia Immediately, it struck me that he was doing it to punish me. He had placed himself where he could monitor and interrupt any conversation I might want to have with Freya. Jeez! Was I going to have to put up with this sort of shit for the rest of my life? I also noticed that Freya was acting strangely, as she took her seat, her face was unusually flushed. Also, her hands were trembling as she picked up her glass to take a sip. I asked her with my eyes if she was alright, and she answered me with a tight smile and a negative shake of her head. I couldn't tell if what she meant was a yes or a no. However, I didn't have the opportunity to dig further as the servants flooded the dining hall. They were dressed up in black pants and white shirts with black crested vests and there seemed to be twice as many as usual. They walked around, filling the champagne glasses at each table setting. The servant filling Hades’ glass accidentally sloshed a bit on the tablecloth and he snarled at

Gwen How could someone have such an enthralling beauty? I always thought that Amelia was one of the most beautiful women I had ever seen, like a warrior queen. But that was before I laid eyes on her twin sister. Freya was smaller in stature, more delicate, and yet I still sensed that steel core that made them powerful. I couldn't take my eyes off her as I bustled around the dining hall, serving the pack. Twice I almost collided with the other servers, until the head chef ordered me to stay in the kitchen before I caused a disaster that would spark the wrath of Alpha Hades on all the servants. Hades was such an idiot, standing up there gloating and making an ass of himself in front of the whole pack without even knowing that the joke was on him. Once the first meal was served, and there was a little time to breathe before the second serving, I went to the doorway to watch the hall. Mostly to watch Amelia’s younger sister. From where I stood, half hidden behind the door frame, I ha

Hunter Amelia was the last person I expected to run into the basement. Gary and I, with the help of the servants, started knocking out the wall that Hades wanted removed, and had pretty well gutted the old gym. Hades wanted everything to be new, even the lights and fixtures had to go. I tried to put aside any opinion I had of Hade’s decisions. This was just a job, a way to keep my hands busy, nothing personal. I was doing pretty well until I rounded the corner and Amelia plowed straight into my chest. Immediately I knew something was different, something had changed. Her scent hit me even harder than her body did. I reached out to catch her when she stumbled back, but it was just as much to balance myself, her floral fragrance overwhelming my senses. But that was a mistake, because where my fingers grazed her bare skin, I felt an all too familiar tingle run from my fingertips, straight up my arm, and into my chest. Oh! Moon Goddess! I jerked my hands away and wondered if Amelia had

Hunter Finding out that Amelia was my second chance mate only made things a thousand times worse. Because no matter how badly I wanted her, needed her, she was still off limits. She was still marked and claimed by another man. She was still pregnant with my stepson’s baby.If I thought Tyler was obsessed before when it came to Amelia, he was now downright possessive and rebellious. I could barely control him these days, and I was honestly a little scared of what he might do, if I were to have another moment alone with Amelia. Even though I had resisted her advances twice now, I don't think I would be able to resist her if she were to make the third move. My self-control was gradually waning off and my lustful desires were beginning to emerge. This was torture on a new and awful level, and I had no idea what to do about it. I had even begun to contemplate the impossible. Maybe I needed to leave the pack altogether but two problems came with that solution. First, I was bound to the
