SEASON 2 — EPISODE 3 The City That Started Listening The screaming didn’t stop. It spread. Somewhere beyond the blackout swallowing the city, hundreds of terrified voices echoed through the rain while distant car crashes exploded one after another across darkened roads. Lagos had gone blind in seconds. Streetlights dead. Traffic systems offline. Communication towers flickering unstable against the storm-filled sky. Daniel stood frozen near the flooded canal while the synchronized civilians around them remained motionless beneath the rain, eyes closed, bodies trembling faintly like signals were passing through them. Then all of them suddenly collapsed again. Unconscious. Victor stared at the bodies. “I swear if one more creepy thing happens in the next five minutes, I’m retiring from humanity.” Nobody answered him. Because Amara had gone completely pale.
