Rejected by My Alpha, Claimed by the Lycan King のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 121 - チャプター 130

SerenaThe doctor spent a good while stretching me… yes, literally, in different ways.He kneaded my thighs and calves and even my butt and the base of my spine with his fingertips, looking for abnormalities in my bone structure and joints, but given that he said nothing other than the occasional "turn around" or "bend" I didn't think he found anything amiss. It was awkward, though.I mean, really, how could it not be when he had to touch me so much and he was a man whereas I was woman? It was only when he stepped back that I allowed myself to relax."All right," he said, straightening his coat. "Try taking a few steps forward."I swallowed hard, then took a deep breath and tried to do so to the best of my abilities. It came as a horrible surprise to discover that I couldn't stretch either of my legs as far as I used to because my ability to bend them at the knees was far more limited than I had been expecting.I would have fallen over and hurt myself had the girl with me not seen it

SerenaI have never cried as hard as I cried on that bathroom floor in any of my years long past. Even when Kael beat me for nothing and banished me, even when mama died, even when the Ironfang Pack tried to kill me, I have never felt such pain.It was ripping apart and I hated it and I couldn't help myself and I hated it even more. After Darius came, I could see that he was tired and hadn't slept well and so, I asked him to cuddle with me and he agreed. What he didn't know was that it was him I wasted to rest. And rest he did because a few minutes in my arms and he was a goner.Everyone else had left us and I knew that no one would come in unless he went out first or he called out for them and that was why when I woke up with the need to go to the toilet and change the pad I was wearing, I didn't wake him up and decided to walk to the bathroom by the help of the wall and help myself.I had decided to start exercising this early and maybe, one day, life would be kind to me and give m

Serena“Darius, baby, let's go home. This hospital is making me sicker.Let's just go home and you guys can take care of me there,” I said to the man who, two days later, had still been holding me.After that break down, I woke up feeling lighter and much better.I had made a decision, I wanted to get better and get my revenge. Darius wasn't telling me what had happened but I knew that it had something to do with Kael, Alina and Elijah. The three people who wanted me dead for reasons I did not know. Now, it was time I found it inside me to get better and get my much needed revenge. How much would they take from me before they stopped?I was done being their door mat.“Are you sure, isn't it better if you stayed here and let the doctors look after you?" Darius asked but I was done doing the pity party."No. Let us go home and I will get better from there. All they do here is change my bandages and that's all. We can do that at home, can't we?" I asked him but he didn't answer. It was

SerenaI would be lying if I said that I rested at home the way I wanted. But one thing was clear, Darius wasn't going to leave my side and I knew that I needed to reassure him that I was going to be okay if he was. When we landed, we were welcomed by the other members of the pack and even the Rebel Witches showed up.They couldn't really be seen in public and they took such a great risk to come and see me.After the celebration of the fact that I was home and all the excitement died down, it was time for me to lie down and rest my tired legs.Though there was one thing that was bugging my mind; were these people really happy that I was back or was it a pity party so that I won't think of how badly I had fallen?Whatever it was, I didn't want to dwell on it because I knew it would stress me and the other person who would be more stressed than I was would be Darius and I didn't want to put him in that position.“So, what news about Alina and Kael?" I asked him as he tucked me in bed af

SerenaI took a deep breath as I willed myself to relax more and take whatever nature was giving me and I did.I started feeling a little mana get absorbed into my body and it was tasking and painful but I persevered. It was like my pores and acupoints had all been blocked and I was trying to reopen them by force and it was painful.I didn't know for how long I had been sitting there but my butt was numb by the time Darius was shaking me out of the trance. But no matter how little, I knew that I had made progress and that I would if I persevered.“How long was I out?" I asked as I shook my head, willing myself to return to the real world.“Six hours and five minutes," Agatha said.“And you let her sit for that long?" Darius asked, his temper bordering on thin.“Baby, it's okay. I asked her not to disturb me and I am happy that she didn't because I have made progress. Tell me, how was your day?" I tried cheering him up and I didn't like the fact that of late, since I got sick, his ani
