บททั้งหมดของ Finding Autumn Cross: บทที่ 21 - บทที่ 30

AUTUMN'S POVThe first two classes of the day went by without any drama. It wasn’t until we got to Chemistry that things got a bit tense. Our teacher paired us up for an experiment, and I was stuck with none other than the lovely Fenix Drake.“Just my luck to be stuck with the worst kind of human,” he murmured.“I wonder who that must be. I’d be bummed too,” I played along. He shot me a look that screamed confusion. “What’s that supposed to mean?”“I heard werewolves can shatter human bones if humans try to stop them from punching them,” I hinted.I could see the gears working overtime as he just continued to stare at me. I didn’t expect to suddenly feel the sun on my face, and it was only then that I realized that I’d been blindsided. He’d picked me up and carried me all the way outside before I even knew what was happening. I didn’t even know where we were.“I thought you weren’t supposed to reveal yourself to humans,” I commented, getting a leaf out of my hair.“That’s the least of

CASPIAN'S POVI was leaning on the car watching as the people walked out of the yard. I was well aware of the eyes on me, but I only had eyes for one person, and I smiled when I saw her laughing with my sister as they walked towards the gate.“I hear you think it’s a massive bummer that I’m human.”I looked to my sister who shot me a smirk, before looking at my mate. “I didn’t say that.”She folded her arms, eyebrow raised. “Oh? I thought it wasn’t my greatest attribute.”I turned to Amery. “I thought you wanted me to have a relationship with my mate.”“That’s what you get for lying to me,” she said nonchalantly.I turned back to Autumn. “I didn’t mean it like that. I was just playing with Amery.”“And I was just playing with you,” she said innocently.I pinched the bridge of my nose as they giggled. “I’m doomed.”“Glad you know it! I hear a tour is on the cards for today. We’ll just keep texting and schedule that shopping trip for another day,” Amery said, saying the last part to Aut

CASPIAN'S POVShe shook her head. “She only speaks to Fenix. I still have no idea why, and she apparently has a lot to say to him.”“And let me guess, he’s holding that over you?” I guessed.“I wouldn’t say he is. I think he’s as confused as I am. I don’t think he’s a threat,” she responded, targeting my next words.“You want me not to lose my shit about this,” I picked up.“I don’t know what the beef is with you and him, but I do know that it has nothing to do with me. There’s a reason that Valentia is coming out to him and only him and making him my enemy when he isn’t could be a bad idea,” she stated.“He almost killed you,” I reminded.“As lethal as that punch would’ve been to a human face, I’m still alive, and he apologized for it. I know now that humans are a soft spot for him,” she argued.I raised an eyebrow. “Sounds like the two of you did some bonding.”“You can rein in your jealousy. It was as awkward as you could possibly think it was,” she said.“Ok, so what? I’m just sup

AUTUMN'S POVJust like earlier, the familiar adrenaline filled me as I watched him launch himself towards me. This time I didn’t dodge him, instead heading straight into a fight. We went at it for minutes before he suddenly shifted into his wolf.He undoubtedly has one of the biggest and most beautiful wolves I’ve ever seen. It’s a charcoal colour with a silver streak down its back – something I didn’t have an opportunity to admire for too long as he rammed into me.I went flying, landing with a painful thud. My mate growled, this time much louder than the last time, but Fenix and his wolf again paid him no mind as they sauntered towards me. I raised my hand up to stop Hades from attacking him, and instead smirked at the approaching wolf.“You shouldn’t have done that.”What happened next happened too quickly for even I to know what exactly happened. All I heard was the unmistakable sound of bone breaking, and I looked up to find the wolf in an awkward position amongst some broken woo

CASPIAN'S POVJasmine raised an eyebrow at Jasper and I. “What you’re saying suggests she learnt how to fight when she was five.”“Or, she knows where Elios is.”My mate shot me a dry look. “Let me stop you right there. I have no idea who Elios is, much less where he is.”Jasper scowled at that. “But you just said he taught you how to fight.”“Valentia said so. I don’t actually remember who taught me how to fight.”I wasn’t sure what the look on my face was at that, but the more she looked at ours, the more she looked like she was closing off. There was something off about what she’d just said, and even she realized it.Before any of us could question anything, my sister arrived. “Hey guys!”“Amery?” Jasper said in confusion.“What? You thought I didn’t know about this place?” she sassed just as Hudson arrived.“I know that look. I didn’t tell her about this place,” he defended.Amery huffed, throwing her hands in the air. “Oh come on! All it takes is stalking Cas for anyone to find th
