บททั้งหมดของ Claimed By Four: The White Wolf Luna : บทที่ 1 - บทที่ 10

POV: LunaMy boots slap wet cobblestone and my lungs are already quitting. Not dramatically. Just… done. Like we're not doing this anymore, find another way to breathe.Behind me, three of Raven's enforcers are closing in. Blaze, Knox, Gage. Wolves. Shifted just enough that their claws click on stone. Knox laughs. Blaze spits to the side. Gage doesn't make a sound, which is worse. Gage never makes noise before he hits someone."Stop running, little nothing!" Blaze shouts. "Raven just wants a word."Knox grins. "A word with teeth, more like."Don't trip. Don't trip. Don't you dare trip, Luna, you clumsy…My shoulder clips a stack of crates. Pain shoots up my arm. The stupid kind. The kind that makes you mad because it's your own fault. The stolen council papers crinkle inside my jacket. Maybe thirty seconds before they catch me. Maybe ten minutes after that before Raven decides which word she wants.Last time someone upset Raven, Fawn ended up in the river. I remember the splash. Nobody

POV: LunaThe floor breaks open. I think, very clearly: Oh. Okay. This is it then.Gold light. The frost on the walls starts dripping. I grab the back of Aiden's tunic so hard my fingers hurt, and I'm not proud of it, but there's nowhere to run, and running is the only thing I'm good at, and even that's not working anymore.A hand punches through solid rock. Clawed. Knuckles black with something that smells like burnt hair and hot iron. A voice comes up through the hole, wrecked and raw and shaking with something I don't have a name for."I felt her. And I will NOT be locked out of what's mine."The word mine hits me in the chest. My seal does that thing again. That pulse. I press my palm flat over it. Stop. Please. Just stop.He pulls himself up. Shoulders first. Then his head. Black hair stuck to his face with sweat and dust and what might be blood. He looks like Aiden. Same bones. Same jaw. But where Aiden is cold and quiet and holding everything in, this one is... leaking. Every fe

POV: LunaWe hit the ground hard. My shoulder catches something and I taste dirt. Dust everywhere. Can't see."Everyone still got their limbs?" Jace coughs."Define 'all.'" Kai. Dry as always. "I seem to be missing my dignity.""Quiet." Aiden. "Listen."Something's breathing under us. The stone itself, pushing out, pulling in. The air tastes like a riverbank after heavy rain. Wet. Old. My seal settles, just a little, and I hate that it does. The floor cracks. Not fast. Slow. On purpose. Stone peels back. Two eyes open in the dark. Gold. Ancient. Tired. They blink once, and then a hand grips the ledge. Massive knuckles. Runes carved into the skin, glowing faint. He pulls himself up. He's too big for the room. Moss in the cracks of his armor. Grey in his beard. Clay dried on his hands. He smells like roots and cedar and the sweet rot of leaves. He looks at me and stops moving."The old songs were not songs." His voice sounds like rocks rubbing together. "They were instructions."My chest

POV: LunaThe world isn't black anymore. It's white. Blinding, absolute white.I'm not on the ground. I can't feel the grass of Aix or the cold bite of the eclipse anymore. I'm just hanging here, suspended in light that feels too thick to breathe in. My bones aren't shaking. They're humming, this high frequency that rattles my teeth and makes it hard to think straight. Why can't I feel the ground? The thought just loops. It hurts. It's beautiful. And it's way too much for a girl who was scrubbing floors yesterday."Nobody move!"Aiden's voice cuts through the roar. No calm. No Alpha command. Just raw fear. I've never heard him sound like that before. The light thins, just enough for me to see down.I'm hovering in the exact center of the ritual stones. And behind me… or inside me, I can't tell; rises a White Wolf. Not flesh. Not fur. Just spirit, translucent and massive, bigger than any living beast. Its eyes are the same color as the light pouring out of my chest.Every wolf in the c

POV: LunaThe air goes dead cold.Frost races across the moss, blackening the living wood wherever it touches. The wards on the sanctuary crack; I actually hear them snap; and then the mist is full of them. Dozens of pale wolves, fur bleached white, eyes burning that sick violet. No growling. No panting. Just frozen pine needles crunching under paws."Back up, little Queen." Kai is already in front of me, blades out. "These aren't living. Their souls were burned out a long time ago.""Form up! Center!" Aiden shoves me behind his shoulders, claws out. "Jace, left!""Stop barking at me, I see them!" Jace is already half-shifted, black fur bristling up his back, heat coming off him in waves.Orion steps to the front, big enough to block the whole entrance. He slams both fists into the frozen roots. Stone and root surge up into a thick wall."Hold the threshold! If they get past, the rot takes the whole grove!"It doesn't hold. The first wave hits and violet light bleeds straight into the
