EMPIRE

Natasha is seen in a lavish living room with her baby's nanny Sandra.

"Sandra please look after the baby, we'll be back in a week" Tasha says trying to hurry things up seeing that they might not make their flight 

"What about..." Sandra says

"We'll pay you overtime" Tasha interrupts

"But..." It seems like Sandra cannot catch a break with her boss

"don't worry about it we will be back" Tasha finally says as she adjusted the luggage beside her.

"Let's go honey" Mark who happens to be Tasha husband said to his wife.

*They headed out*

"But it's her birthday" Sandra whispers as she rocks the baby in the cradle.

Hours later Sandra receives a disturbing call informing her of the unfortunate plane crash her bosses had been in. Shocked on hearing the news Sandra knew she needed to act fast, she didn't have the funds to raise a child, she didn't have access to the parents assets. After a week of thinking and waiting to hear from the baby's relatives, she decided that the baby deserved the love of a family and she couldn't give her that hence she took the baby to an orphanage home where she got a job inorder to look after the baby. The baby's parent had done so much for her, raising her up when she lost both are parents, Sandra just didn't have the heart to abandon the child.

A year later adoption papers for  the baby girl was signed, after signing off the adoption papers the foster parents took the baby on a trip. The foster father of the baby had an unfortunate accident and died in a car crash and the foster mother who had a mediocar way of thinking took the baby back to the orphanage home saying she was bad luck. Years past and no one wanted the child, no one wanted a bad omen,no one wanted a child that was jinxed, life was hard as hell for that baby but Sandra knew that the child had potentials because she was a smart child, she was able to understand what kids her age shouldn't be able to understand, nevertheless her luck didn't shine till her 10th birthday.

On her 10th birthday, a lawyer came to the orphanage home and explained to her and her nanny about the deceased couple and their will. The little girl got everything that belonged to her parents, the cars, houses, companies, factories, everything... It was stated in the will that upon their death, their baby should get everything no matter how young she was, Sandra was not excluded in the will...she was put in charge of the baby and her fortune.

With the help of her parents most trusted workers Dave and Sandra, she built hospitals and schools all over the world. The little girl traveled the world and at age 15 she decided to return home to Canada.

On her return, stepping out of her private plane, she was greeted by the pilot;

"Welcome to Canada miss Chloe" the  middle aged man said.

"Home sweet home" Chloe said with a smile on her face.

After Chloe had come down from her plane, there was a car waiting to pick her up 

"Right this way miss" Chloe rose her head to acknowledged the man gesturing at the car, he looked like he was in his late 20s. 

"Thank you" Chloe said to the man as she walked directly to the the car. 

Her trip to the hotel was brief, she decided to stay at CHANNING HOTEL AND SUITE. She wanted to experience that first class service and the hotel is well known all round the country to be the best in the business.

The following Monday, Chloe wanted to go to school, she wanted to mingle, she wanted to be "normal" for once and she thought to herself; what better place is there to study if not EMPIRE ACADEMY. Not that the school was "normal", Empire is a school for the elites, the best of the best and it would take a miracle for someone to get in... Getting in wasn't a problem for Chloe seeing that she owned the school...it is one of her many many achievement and she was proud of it.

Nobody knew who Chloe was, not the students, not the teachers, not even the principal. Chloe did a bang up job keeping her identity a secret from the general public. Nobody cared to know who she was all that mattered to them was that she was an elite.

During the first period of the school day, a man in his mid 40s who happens to be their homeroom teacher and their math teacher walked into the classroom;

"Good morning class" he said addressing the class of 25 students and they replied. 

"Today we have a new student joining us" he went outside and signaled Chloe to come inside and that she did.

"Introduced your self to the class" Chloe nodded at the teacher as she proceeded with her introduction.

"Good morning everyone, I'm Chloe and I'm your new classmate" Chloe wasn't very good with standing in public, she hated the spotlight, she hated much attention, she was anti social and she liked it, at least that is what she shows the world,the cruel and cold side of herself. 

"You can take your seat"the man said pointing his hand at an empty seat in the middle row.

"Thank u sir" she adjusted her dress and proceeded to the seat.

As he was about to begin the class, two students walked in gallantly despite being late. 

"you are late young men" he said turning towards the direction of the students. 

"Um we had important business to take care of sir" one of the boys replied.

"Tell that to the principal, go and report yourselves to her now" the man said with a little anger peeking its way through his voice. These two boys who happened to be twins were know for causing havoc in the school, at least one of them was.

"So no math class today? Sweet" the other twin said as they both walked out of the classroom.

The homeroom teacher was furious at the nonchalant attitude of the twin, they were always late and they didn't care.

"That is the kind of behavior that I will no longer accept from anyone of you. I do my best to teach and I don't get respected for it? Anymore slip ups from this class will attract serious penalties".
