Rise of the gem possessors

Feinheim is the keeper of the five most powerful gems in the Universe. That is why it has the authority to run the affairs of the other four worlds.

On the day of solar eclipse, the leaders of the five worlds will gather along with the current gem Possessors and the gems will choose their keepers; someone who is worthy of the power of the gem.

Decades ago, the red gem chose Nicole from World Feinheim, the yellow gem chose Nikki from World Jotunine and the White gem chose Nora from World Alasda.

The other two gems were kept by the red gem possessors since she believed the Ice Nation has always been a threat and people of World Earth are too weak to possess the powerful gem.

Together, the three of them ruled the Universe peacefully, keeping balance, winning every war, enslaving people who serves as threat to the Universe.

But what they do not know is a greater threat is near.

An invisible one bound to destroy Feinheim.

WORLD FEINHEIM

Maya, Nicole's sister entered the 'Hall of Authority' where the gem Possessors are.

Maya: Nicole, the Ice Nation are planning an attack and you know that. Why are you not doing anything?

Nicole: Sister, everything is not about war. I mean, you know how many times that world has repeatedly waged war and lost? I mean, we do not have to worry ourselves about such trivial matters when we have more pressing issues at hand, like the solar eclipse that has refused to happen.

Nikki: Besides Maya, the Ice Nation is the smallest of the worlds. Small in size, population, weapon and sorcery. We have greater advantage even if they try to attack us.

Nora: Why would they even think of attacking us?

Maya: Like you said, they are the smallest, they might want to seize the opportunity to capture or sorcers and sorceresses or slaves to produce more weapon. You know too well, they come back with stronger weapons everytime we go to war with them and a lot of children go missing after war. Those retreating capture them in secret. They have tactics.

NIKKI: We do recover some of those kids.

MAYA: Some you say? what happens to the family of those other ones that are quite unfortunate? or those that would have died to torture. Well, another reason they keep attacking is, we still have their last surviving sorceress in our dungeon. They lost a great sorceress already, Lisa's twin sister, Melissa and now you held their only sorceress captive.

NORA: So you are saying they still want revenge? They must not be wise enough to realize they can't get any revenge on us.

MAYA: Maybe?

NIKKI: Well, absolutely Nora. because they are clearly outnumbered

NORA: No Nikki, that's far from crazy, that's suicide. These people just don't give up.

MAYA: Exactly. But when they are left with no other option, they prefer to risk their lives for their sorceress.

NICOLE: Hmm...if there are planning an attack on the most powerful world, that means they have something more powerful they rely on. (she finally speaks)

MAYA: Maybe.

NORA: Or an insider.

NICOLE: Exactly.

NIKKI: If that's true then, Maya is right for panicking. I can not imagine them knowing our every move. I do not even want to imagine it.

NORA: Definitely not.

MAYA: Or you could pay the sorceress a visit in her cursed dungeon to hear what she knows.

NICOLE: Exactly what I am going to do. Nikki, Nora, tell the soldiers to tighten their defence. Who knows when they are going to start their attack. I am suddenly having a bad instinct about this (stood up)

NIKKI & NORA: Okay {they both exited the general chamber}

MAYA: And me?

NICOLE: Just enjoy sis {wanted to leave}

MAYA: No goodbye hug?

NICOLE: It's not like we're departing forever sis {smiles}

MAYA: Well...Good luck hug then?

NICOLE: You want an hug badly {they both laugh and Maya hugs Nicole}. There, are you satisfied?

MAYA: Just a little. Be careful sis. You know she is dangerous.

NICOLE: She can not use sorcery remember ? so no need to worry about me {they both laughed and Nicole went out}

At the cursed Dungeon

LISA: (Inhales deeply) I know that powerful aura. Nicole, why are you here?

NICOLE: (from afar) Looks like your power hasn't depreciated after all these years Lisa, even when most of your power has been sealed.

LISA: A true sorceress' power doesn't depreciate.

NICOLE: (Now at the prison's gate) Then you must know why I'm here.

LISA: You have failed the world Nicole. You have failed the entire universe. You have failed your friends and family. You have failed the gem you possess but most of all, you have failed yourself. You are a failure.

NICOLE: (laughs) Failure is but an event Lisa, not a person. I respect you so much Lisa even till now but the only mistake you made was being a bad, manipulative sorceress.

LISA: The only mistake here is you. That war will come and there is nothing even your powerful gems can do to stop it, to stop your destruction, your doom, your failure.

NICOLE: You can stop the attack now and I'll grant you the freedom you have always wanted but not your powers.

LISA: (laughs) I've spent more than a few years past a decade in this stupid dungeon, freedom is the last thing I want now.

NICOLE: So what do you want?

LISA: War, destruction and most importantly, your doom which will be caused by me.

NICOLE: You know for a sorceress, you think in a rather funny way (laughs) You are in a dungeon that is in the middle of nowhere. A maze to all except myself, not even the other gem possessors or my sister, the ones I trust with my life, knows the way through to this catacomb and you are thinking of being the one to cause my doom? So funny, dream again Lisa.

LISA: You'll be surprised when you see me with a mole in your kingdom, someone who hates your guts. Hatred and sorrow will fill you heart when your doom is right in front of you but there'll be nothing you can do.

NICOLE: I tried to settle this peacefully but you reek of war. I will see you after the war Lisa. Because I have already confirmed my assumption that the war is coming. (started leaving)

LISA: I will surely see you later with sorrow on your face and smile on mine.

At the chamber,

NIKKI: How did it go with Lisa?

NICOLE: Bad. She seem confident and even talked about a mole.

NORA: No, she didn't . If she did, then, that is bad.

NIKKI: So what do you think we can do to stop the attack?

NICOLE: It is against our code of conduct as gem Possessors to start an attack or war when we are not being attack.

NORA: Yeah we know but in this situation, if we do that, we can reduce casualties.

NICOLE: It is no different in this case.

NIKKI: So what do you think will happen to the family of those who will died because we failed to take first action in an attack that we know is imminent?

NICOLE: It is a war, Nikki, people are bound to die.

NORA: Should we contact their the Ice Nation's acting ruler, Makeith?

NICOLE: Makeith has cut all ties and connection with the outside world. We can not contact them unless we go there.

NIKKI: And we can not go there.

NORA: We can but one of us has to go which is also a big risk.

NICOLE: Infact, none of us can leave for another world in a time like this.

NIKKI: So, we just wait for the attack?

NICOLE: If we must.

NORA: The gems can be in danger if we are attacked.

NICOLE: If it comes to that, we will think of a solution. This is not our first drill.

NIKKI: I sure hope you can live with the deaths of your warriors.

NICOLE: We are leaders and it is part of what we must do. Live with blood on our hands. Live with the death of our loved ones. Live with betrayal and broken trust.

NIKKI: I have a really bad feeling about the Ice Nation attack this time.

NORA: We should just be ready for them. If they are even going to defeat us because they have something or someone powerful, we have to at least be a challenge to them. We cannot go down this way because, we are the Gem Possessors. We are the keeper of balance.
