Chapter 1

I had nothing to do aside wandering around in Ash city moving from cinema hall to cinema hall. I didn’t know that I was naturally gifted to analyze movie posters and banners. Actually, I was not employed by anyone on this movie posters analysis.

But my style of analysis always attracted the crowd by my side. I always make sure that those gathered around me would at least get a fair idea about the movie they had to watch. I talked from morning to evening yet the money to buy even food was a problem.

The unfortunate thing was that I had no money to buy tickets to watch some of these movies. At times I work extra hard to get some coins from some people in other to buy tickets to watch my favorite action movies.

Some regular customers of some of the cinema halls named me movie appraisal specialist and always heed to me for insight about new movies. I knew almost all the names of the leading characters both male and female around the world.

Some people from the crowd asked some questions. But with my infectious smiles and patience, they were stunned as to the kind of explanation it would come from me.

At times some couples bought a ticket for me to sit nearer to them at the cinema hall so that I could explain the movies to them for in-depth understanding.

One day in the act of my movie poster appraisal a young man within his thirties walked majestically towards me. He just tapped on my shoulder and asked if I was interested to become an actor. I immediately responded affirmatively as I glanced at him with a smile.

The enthusiasm that I was going to become a celebrity was not denied and started imagined my pictures on movie posters and banners. What actually increased my excitement was the fact that a lot of people were going to see my face on the big screen at most of the cinema halls.

My imagination did not end when I heard the man talking about registration fees. Immediately I was saddened by the turning of events because I didn’t know where I was going to get that registration fee.

Those with me in the crowd were happy so they clapped with excitement as they rushed into their various houses.

I smiled weakly as some of them returned with smiles on their faces. I was speechless as I stood there dispassionately not knowing where to turn to.

Few minutes after their registration exercise I heard an announcement that all the registered members were to meet at heroes park the next morning.

I planned to solicit loans from those I knew in our area. I hurriedly moved from base to base but my entire plan ended in vain. None of my friends even gave me a face as soon as l talked about loans. I had another plan so I went to bed early enough to get rest.

Early in the morning, I was the first person to arrive at Heroes Park in my sportswear thinking that Baba Moro will be lenient to give me an opportunity to join his Karate group.

I sat at the far end of the training field watching closely what was going on and waiting patiently if my time would come.

In no time the training field was occupied with the new Karate group members. Baba Moore arrived with his BMW 5 series car.
