“What the hell is this place?” Before he could answer, we were interrupted by a loud static from an overhead speaker. “Welcome to THE Survival Game!” a distorted voice announced. “Congratulations, you are all dead! But because hell is currently in recycle mode due to the greenhouse effect, you’re being sent to dead worlds as entertainment!” I blinked. “I’m sorry, what?” The voice kept going: “Please provide the fanciest death you can. Or fanciest kills if you have what it takes to be a predator. The audience loves those.”

I muttered and Erick smiled at me. “Shall we begin then?” The girl next to Erick which he introduced as Daisy, probed and I could have sworn she had short me a glare from the corner of her eyes, making me self conscious of the fact that she liked Erick. I guess they're a couple or something, in other words, she was hinting that he was off limits and I understood immediately. “What game are we playing?” I asked as Kelly passed me a drink. “Seven minutes in heaven.” Erick smirked and I widened my eyes in shock. This can't be good.

A large number of people staring up at him with the kind of silence that comes right before something terrible. "The game is called Takeout," he mentioned. "The rules are simple. You have ten minutes to kill as many players as possible. For every player you eliminate, you receive five of their lives to carry into future rounds." He tilted his head slightly. "Protect yourself or don't….That is entirely up to you." Nobody moved. "Guards." The doors above the platform opened. Crates dropped from the ceiling on thick cables and hit the floor with a sound like cannon fire, splitting open on impact. Guns, knives, batons, and rope spilled out across the black tile in every direction.

Bianca “Seven minutes in heaven,” a woman in a red dress announced to the room, holding up an empty wine bottle. “Who’s feeling nostalgic tonight?” I stiffened immediately. They had said the game would be geared toward couples, but seven minutes in heaven? Was this woman serious? I’d expected charades or something, not a game for horny teenagers. But the other guests seemed thrilled with the idea. Some of them were already moving furniture to create a circle in the center of the parlor, while others refilled their drinks in preparation.

Chapter 5: An Offline Meetup! After reading the announcement, Yenn started playing the game again. He was already playing the game for almost a month now, he's totally addicted to it! The event made the game only have hard mode and hell mode which made every player fired up! It will only last for 24 hours so everyone who saw the announcement start playing the game non-stop, hoping that they’ll be pick as the mysterious top tier players.

Lazarus does a thumbs up to me and I give him one back. The game continues and we encounter more enemies and end up in some pretty tight spots. At some point the whole platform we were on started shaking and we had to grab on to the walls. Lazarus whispered to me that the game needed to lower us to ground level and simulated a meteor storm to hide the fact that our platform slowly went down. Eventually we reach our goal and retrieve the important documents. The goggles turn off and everyone is back in reality. The game took close to two hours to play and once again I’m sweaty.

I think I hit my head bad when I fell. "Let's go. You don't want to see her wrath." Timi said while taking my hands and dragging me to the midst of our other classmates. "Okay, listen everyone. The game we are to play is seven minutes in heaven. I'm sure you all know it. Well, except a particular prude. Guess who? Korona. Legend of Kora. I know the rules though. I don't play doesn't mean I don't watch. I rolled my eyes inwardly at her.

I groaned wearily from where I crouched, my tongue now burning with the bitterness of my own vomit. A huge timer silently jutted out of the wall, the clock reading ten minutes. “Moving on players; To test your speed and agility, you all are required to cross the bridge that leads to the game arena. Time limit: Ten minutes. Consequences: failure to get to the edge before the time elapses, the bridge retracts and you fall to your death” Those hordes of blood-sucking monsters. I gasped silently. The voice continued. “The building blows up once the timer goes off. Whatever way you die is a win in our realm. Survive or die trying”

When Nellie said that the players were Caleb, Jeremy and a few of their friends, I hadn't exactly been expecting to see up to twenty people sitting in a circle and the last thing I'd expected was to be trapped in a room with Max and Derris. Okay, maybe that one was on me. After all, the four of them were friends so of course, they were part of whatever game we were playing. After both Nellie and I joined the circle, somebody finally explained the game we were playing. They'd decided on 7 Minutes In Heaven.

He was still. He was gone. Her calls were never heard by him. Her tears he never saw, Her face he could not see. The sky was bright, the sun shining bright, But the castles were under a dark black cloud. The queen stopped at the end of the bed, as tears poured down her eyes she felt her heartache.
