I feel so bad at this even till now. The book in my hand is a constant encouragement to me. The major character in the book is an eighteen year old girl who has no one to call her own, her mother died at a tender age. She was raised by her father, when she was eight, her father remarried and the stepmother came into their family with her three children. She was treated as a stranger in her own house, her step brothers and sister treated her like trash, an object of humiliation in the house where she naturally came from. She suffered humiliations, starvation, physical and emotional abuse till she finished high school, by then she was eighteen years old.

The tick book had always been a great companion to me through out my entire life.
