Sunny "That's good," Shiela said. "How about the assignment? Are you done with yours?" I looked at Steven's chair and saw him reading a book again—such a bookworm. "Honestly, I finished mine in just a few minutes." I told her as I put my things on my chair. "A few minutes?" Shiela asked with her shocked reaction. "I do not think you have finished yours in just a few minutes. I finished mine for an hour or two." she added.

"It will take us at least thirty minutes to get back home and they said at midnight. By the time we get home, it will be almost eleven then we would only have to wait an hour. There's something I need to check within that hour." Darius nodded his head. "I'll say goodbye to the ex beta then. The rest of you can wait here." Duke let out a sigh and relaxed into his seat while Dean nodded his head. Darius rose to his feet and walked away from their table. I held the books firmly, feeling the frame through the cloth bag. I couldn't wait to read the book and find out more about the soil feeders. Everything I desperately wanted to know was written inside the book and the impatience in me to read it

I glance around at the men, at the band on the stage, I turn and look at Fabiola, who is beginning to tremble, and a realization hits me. I look back at Donnie and slowly nod. “All right. Fifteen minutes.” He flicks his pocket watch around his forefinger and smiles. “Good. Good boy.”

My legs carry me inside, passing the shelves lined with books, stalking around the table, my fingers trailing over the smooth surface as I walk. My fingers paused on the worn edge of a familiar book with a crescent moon carved at the front, the one with no name. Picking it up, fall into the chair. I roll backward then turn around, with one hand, I push back the curtain, popped a foot under me, and I get comfortable, and start reading. The book is a short one, I finish it in an hour and a half, and I remain staring at the book afterward.

I replied happily. It's 3:05 am according to my phone. That gives me five minutes for a shower, five minutes to get dresses, and 5 minutes for breakfast. Knowing my mom it's already done and waiting on the table for me. We had to leave by 3:30 am to be to the airport by 4 am. I have no idea why I have to check in two hours before my flight but that's the rules. I knew I could sleep on the plane. Dad had gotten me a first class ticket. So I knew I would have a seat all to myself with plenty of room to sleep. The first part of my journey would be on a quick flight to Seattle then onto a plane to Greece. Well technically a ten hour flight with a 1 hr lay over in Paris and then an almost 3 1/2 h

I mean they aren't that bad right? I left her and started making my way to the library. I walked towards the librarian with a smile. "Hi...I wanted to return this book" I said kindly. She smiled, "Of course my dear" she replied. After returning my book, I looked at my watch and cursed under my breath. Riya is going to kill me....it's literally been 20 minutes. As I was half way through reaching the canteen, my feet stopped as my heart tightened in unknown pain.

Roughly 15 minutes. The countdown began…

At the school gate where I would be at three fifteen. At the boy who would come through the doors at three seventeen. At the two minutes. The specific two minutes of thoroughness. "Three fifteen," she said. "I'll be there," I said. "I know," she said. She ended the call. I held the ammonite. I thought about *accidental.* About the chapter title. About whether anything that had happened was accidental. The application at 11:58 PM. The mineral display at the charity event. The ammonite given for the right moment.

"Mr. Johnston, where's Emily?" I had not expected this kind of meeting. Even though I tried to be polite and look away, I still could not help but notice his impressive size. It was so big. I could not help feeling a little shy. I had already felt Leonard's size before, and that terrifying thing was truly much bigger than my husband's. "She's gone out.
