2021 Funny Memes Novels & Stories

Then the laughter ripped through the air, taunting my ears. “Ignore them.” I said to myself. Easier said than done, Valeria. I forced my attention to my phone, scrolling mindlessly, pretending none of this mattered. I shouldn’t have looked. Because the second I did, the screen slapped me with something that made my stomach drop. A meme. Not just any meme, me, Zane, and Landon photoshopped into a disgusting threesome, covered in crude stickers and comments. My heart throbbed with pain, my fingers visibly shaking.

Just stared at the table, his jaw working, his hands gripping the edge hard enough that his knuckles went white. One of the staffers approached cautiously. “Sir, we’ve got another problem.” Alfred looked up. “What now?” “Social media. The memes. They’re spreading faster than we can report them. People are making jokes. Turning you into a punchline.” “Show me.” The staffer handed over a tablet. Alfred scrolled through it, his face darkening with every swipe. Images of him photoshopped into ridiculous scenarios. Captions mocking him. Videos set to music. Clips from his speeches edited together with the photos to make him look like a hypocrite.

“I cannot wait for the day Vera good gets into a fight and Eden would not be there!” “That day will be brutal” I closed the laptop. I opened it again immediately and refreshed. There was a meme now. Someone had taken a part of the video and turned it into a GIF, the exact moment Erica had me by the hair and my face was doing something undignified, and put it side by side with a stock image of a cat being held by the scruff. The account that posted it had no profile picture, no followers, no posts except this one. I knew who made it. WREN!

He created memes featuring himself in hilarious situations, hoping that humor would be his saving grace. ‌ One meme showed him riding a roller coaster with a terrified expression, with the caption, "Trying to survive the rollercoaster of life like..." Another meme depicted him as a superhero with a cape made of dollar bills, captioned, "Saving the day, one money bag at a time." ‌ But the internet wasn't buying it. Instead of gaining sympathy, he became the subject of even more ridicule. Memes mocking his antics flooded social media, with one meme showing him chasing a giant floating pickle with the caption, "Gregory, the Pickle Chaser."

“Oh thank God, backup. Jackson, explain memes to your boyfriend. He doesn’t understand why anyone would care about a woman yelling at a cat.” “It’s not that I don’t care,” Frost protested. “I just don’t understand the context. Is this a human realm inside joke? Did something happen with this specific woman and cat?” I couldn’t help but laugh, dropping my bag by the door. “Frost, it’s just a meme. It doesn’t have to make sense. That’s kind of the point.” “But—” “Nope.” Maya held up a hand. “We’re moving on. Next meme.” She scrolled down, and Frost leaned in closer, his expression adorably perplexed.

There were several memes on her with hilarious comments from many students, they didn't even care about her being the sole heiress and Queen of the campus. One said: 'When your crush denies you in public.' They put her funny looking half plastered smiling face below_the look she had on when the idols were leaving. Okay, this did it. I fell on the floor laughing hysterically with Lia as I hit my hands repeatedly on the floor.

“No, boss, I haven’t.” “Let’s check how Morgan is doing now,” I snicker. We enter into the living room and I settle down on the couch folding my legs under me while Gabe picks the single sofa on the side. I open my bag and rummage through until I find my phone. Then I enter my social media account and the entire scandal is still blazing hot. I laugh . “This is such a goated move… memes are now being made with his blurry naked shots and they are hilarious.” “Boss, is it still blazing?”

My skin crawled in desperation for him. The first week I started sending him memes during the day, but he didn’t really understand them, much like the emojis, and it took him a moment to pick up. I had a feeling his office may have been a little too stuffy, and memes weren’t a part of his everyday life like they were with mine. Jenna sent me a dozen a day. Baby Yoda memes were his favorite, and mine as well. His office, his life, had been too stuffy, and I was happy to be breathing life into him.
