“The challenge is going to fail Thursday. Because of every link in the chain between 1993 and this morning.” She picked up her pen. Three days. The chain was complete. But she was not waiting for Thursday to make the challenge fail. She was going to make it fail today.

I loved being more practical. I stared at my blank page, tapping the pen against it. I had no clue what to write about. The instructions were to write a short story of one thousand words. I didn't want it to feel forced. I looked up at Crislynn who was writing away. I let out a heavy sigh and then I looked down at my blank page again.

"How do I find time to write with everything else?" "Same way you find time for everything - you make it a priority and build structure around it." Jennifer pulled out her phone. "What if you blocked off early mornings? Before the twins wake up, before work demands start. Even just an hour a day would be seven hours a week. You could write a book in a year at that pace." The idea of waking up even earlier made Claire want to cry - she was already exhausted. But she also knew Jennifer was right. If she waited for the perfect time, the book would never get written.

"I'm scared." "Good. Fear means you care. Means you have something to lose." I stood. "Come on. I'm taking you back right now." "Now?" "Before you change your mind. Before you convince yourself it's too hard or you're too broken or it's not worth it." Andrew stood slowly, unsteadily. "Okay," he said. "Okay. I'll try." "Not try. Do." I grabbed his arm to steady him. "You're going to do this. For thirty days, you're going to do the work. Actually do it."

The next thing I did was to create a Studying and Writing Schedule. I then logged into the Arts quiz on my phone and began to answer the questions. This I did for about two hours before I decided to Write. At first, I was thinking of Writing about Two chapters with 2500 words each but as I began Writing I ended up Writing 7500 words. I was shocked and happy at the same time. I didn't use any magic or spell, I just decided to pour out my emotions into my writing and I succeeded. I felt tired after all of this and I went back to sleep.

With a brief idea of how I want the chapters to go. This week, specifically January 29 till 31, I did not sleep, I can’t sleep a wink knowing I have to write my missing 20k while I write the other book I also made. I feel like I am going crazy trying to finish before February to outdo the dead line. Days of no sleep, barely going out of the room, was cooped up inside my room, having a series of cramps one after the other as I type on my sister’s laptop that I borrowed. Just so I can write.
