“How long?” Mr Chanda laughed. “Thirty minutes.” “Great!” She said with one hand tied into a fist to warm up her fighting spirit. “I got this.” “Yes you got this,” Mr Chanda echoed her words with a reassuring smile. “Finish up and head upstairs.” “Yes boss.” Natasha answered enthusiastically.

MJ said as he guided Patima to the others. They are currently at the place where they can do roller skates. They said that going to the mall and amusement parks are quite boring so they wanted to try other things. And what other things mean are dangerous things. If Autumn told them that she wants to try other things it only means dangerous things like this one. But it’s never been worse because the last time she told them that, they all flew to Switzerland to try and hike a mountain. Others would be feeding an alligator or taking a picture with a tiger.

They ate the food in silence. After eating, they moved to the living room debating on which movie to watch. "Let's watch Lion King" nafisa suggested . "And why? "Khadija questioned. "Do I look like a baby to you "she added. Nafisa dropped the topic of watching cartoons before her cousin would take it far, they decided on watching The Meg which nafisa found weird . She doesn't like action or romantic movies, she would rather watch cartoon for the rest of her life. The movie was scary to fawaz, he wasn't familiar with such big fishes.

This journey of writing has been a voyage of self-discovery, where I have learned as much about myself as I have about the craft of storytelling. I believe that stories are the threads that weave our shared human experience. They have the power to transcend cultural, geographical, and temporal boundaries, reminding us of our common humanity. Whether through the written word, oral tradition, or digital mediums, stories connect us, inspire us, and challenge us to grow. It is my hope that my words will find a resonance with readers, that they will evoke emotions, provoke thoughts, and spark conversations.

“That’s rare around here. Everyone else just writes checks.” Adrian laughed. “Yeah, I noticed.” They stepped away from the crowd slightly, finding a quiet pocket near a window that looked over the garden. Eli leaned casually against the wall, swirling his wine. “So, what do you write?” “Articles mostly,” Adrian said, tucking his hands into his pockets. “Some short stories. Nothing glamorous. Magazines, online journals. You wouldn’t know any of them.” “Try me.” Adrian smiled, surprised by the interest. “I like peace and Quiet. Most of my stories are about small things. A town nobody’s heard of. A man who grows trees in his kitchen. Real stuff.”

I loved being more practical. I stared at my blank page, tapping the pen against it. I had no clue what to write about. The instructions were to write a short story of one thousand words. I didn't want it to feel forced. I looked up at Crislynn who was writing away. I let out a heavy sigh and then I looked down at my blank page again.

Then I commented underneath it. "Thanks for the concern, everyone. We've broken up. Please don't bother me about this."

This has been a story that has been five years in the making. This went from a five page 2000 word document that I wrote with the help of a few friends the a well over 40,000 word novel. At this point, I don't have anymore of the story written out. This is due to a career change that takes up most of my time. I hope to continue writing this story and I'm even thinking of a possible sequel, however the process will be much slower than planned.
