Novel & Cerita 4 Sacred Beasts

After a moment of silence, Fennel said slowly, “Beelzebub!” “Beelzebub?” Philip was dumbfounded, his face full of surprise. He said, “Isn’t that a mythical creature? Why is such a monster here?” Fennel nodded before he shook his head and said, “No, those monsters just look similar to Beelzebub. They’re not the real thing, but you can consider them a variant of Beelzebub. They’re creatures from the other shore. Thousands of years ago, they were suppressed here by the first chief god of the sacred city! Several of these monsters escaped decades ago and wreaked havoc in the sacred city, even destroying several surrounding cities. If not for Zeus, I’m afraid things would’ve been much worse. More

Maybe, we really did not know, or some of my friends know but pretend not to know. Reyna then clarified her clue. When the Buddha got enlightened, Reyna said, he was meditating under this tree. Meanwhile, Hinduism made the same tree as the symbol of the world tree. Whose its roots are the source of the Sarasvati River. Then for Christians, Adam and Eve pinned the tree leaves and made loincloths cover their bodies after they knew they were naked.

"You know he is. My brother, Andy, had you a couple of years ago and told me some stories. Did you really make that kid urinate in class?" "Yes, I did," Kat answered, her tone serious. She hadn't thought it was funny at the time. "That was the second class I taught...it's not funny," Evan only laughed harder. "Oh, I'm sure of that, especially for the poor guy. Ah, I wish I had been there—I'd love to see The Beast in action," He stopped abruptly when the waiter made his reappearance with their plates. For Evan, a pan-seared rack of lamb encrusted with mint pesto and served with garlic green beans and new potatoes. Kat had ordered the lasagna verde with bechamel sauce and garnished with fried

Chapter 18: Contracting a Beast GUARDIAN beast, a beast in any level that got tamed and entered a blood contract with its master. Spirit beast, the lowest and weakest level of a guardian beast that anyone could try taking and succeed. Usually, their kinds were being used by hunters or mercenaries to practice on. Sacred beast, the stronger version of a spirit beast. If a normal person wanted to tame one, he would have a little hard time but if he was a little stronger, he'd probably succeed.

As I scanned the audience, my gaze locked onto Damien, igniting a surge of anger and irritation within me. Of course, the bastard chose the front seat. The meeting started. Then it was time to raise questions. A man who I acknowledged as the owner of an art collections platform raised his hands from the back seat. “You may speak,” I permitted him. “The Sacred Wolf is a symbol of peace for the werewolves. Why dispute over it when we have a greater evil ahead of us?” “She is valuable to any pack and can be used for the pack’s advantage. As long as she is rebirthed to their sanctuary, she will belong to that pack permanently,” I answered as I spoke into the microphone placed in front of me.

But for Sol, this was nothing more than an old ceremony, that he had to perform every time he came here to study, or perhaps, spend time with his teacher. The moment he finished knocking, a weak turquoise light seemingly scanned him from head to toe before the part of the wall he stood in front of, transformed into a black door, a motif of a scarlet snake eating its own tail was meticulously engraved as an insignia of a certain God beast. This was the representation of Asmodeus. One of the fourteen divine divine beasts of this world. In this country, he was a respected entity as the representative of Goddess Luxuria. “How long do you plan to stand there like a dunce, come in?”

There, beyond the thicket, are the evil witches’ enchanted flying horses. They hover among the ancient pines, their wings folded close, their coats shimmering with an unearthly light. Each horse glows faintly—silver-blue, rose-gold, smoky gray, and deep obsidian—like pieces of the night sky given animal form. Their eyes gleam with magic, and my heart races with caution. These aren’t ordinary horses. They are creatures of darkness, bred and bound to witches. I expect them to be fierce and dangerous. I glance at Roxy. Her gaze is steady but curious. “Stay close,” I murmur.

Then I realize what he just said and stare in disbelief as Aiden goes downstairs. The fae man, who I now realize is my great-uncle, King Thaddeus the First, walks up to me. “Quickly mix up the antidote to Batzdurge and administer it to your boss,” he says. Batzdurge is a combination of heather, amanita, fire weed, drakkonis illuminatum, and pixie dust. A couple drops of it will mess with a human’s brain chemistry, a dropperful can put them in a state that is near permanent. With shifters, it works on their human brain first, then slowly deteriorates their animal side. Once the human side sees hallucinations it becomes exponentially harder to cure. For a fae it is like LSD, and temporary. I h

Tyr became particularly worried when he had become a God and could sense the position of another God in the world. “I’ll go there now. You guys can catch up with me later.” After he finished, Tyr stepped on the golden dragon and turned into a stream of light as he flew in the direction of Mount Rospids. Back on Mount Rospids, Apophis had been fighting the massive Chimera that had evolved from the Ragnarok Formation for several rounds. Chimera was an ancient sacred beast, and it was known as one of the four auspicious beasts. If it happened to be an actual Chimera, perhaps it would have a chance to fight against Apophis.

She lowered her eyes and pressed her lips tightly. “Remember Ehnrelil’s nightly beasts?” she continued. I was taken aback. “The Sacrishas?” I said. These beasts came from Sattus. Once upon a time, a portal somehow opened and allowed these beasts to roam free on Ehnrelil. When King Alduin found out, it was already too late. Many faes had been killed and eaten. He was able to seal the portal and subdue the beasts, but until now, the eggs hatched in hidden locations remain a current problem in the land. These remaining Sacrishas became an invasive specie that some fae knights often fight off.
