50th Hunger Games Tributes Romane & Geschichten

"In three years I've never seen them move a final selection date for anything." Nala gave me control of my body back but I swear I could feel the triumphant smirk she was giving me. I held her gaze for a long moment. Then I looked down at the bottle. "Fine," I said. -~~~ The meatloaf went out on Tuesday. By Wednesday morning, six of the forty-three tributes scheduled for final selection along with were reporting to the infirmary with stomach cramps. By mid-morning it was nine. By the time the session started, They were all sick and could barely stand.

The common room of the Crimson Wing was an opulent, suffocating gold-and-velvet cage, and every eye in it was waiting for me. When I stepped through the arched entryway, the frantic buzzing of noble whispers died instantly, plunging the room into a heavy, volatile silence. The nineteen tributes were gathered in loose clusters around the silk-damask sofas, but the moment I appeared, they shifted as one cohesive unit, drawing away from me like I was carrying the plague.

“T-trubute?” Dreg growls and his dark eyes changed to glowing red crimson ones. “Do you think I will spear you without a tribute?!” “Our utmost apologise!” Glint shouts from behind. Egret nodded vigorously that and trembled under the gaze of his crimson eyes. “W-what would you like to h-have as tribute?” Dreg grins. “What do you have to offer?” “W-we have gold, lots of gold a-and lands that we can offer!” Egret suggests.

Every pulse of pain shoved them further apart. Let me out. Let me out. Let me out. The same demand, every night since the calm broke. I pressed my thumbs into my eye sockets and breathed through my teeth. "Marcus." My beta appeared in the doorway. He'd been waiting. He always waited on these nights. "The tributes," I said. "Is there one who resembles her." He didn't ask who. "The girl from the eastern valley. Dark hair, similar build. Not exact." "Close enough. Bring her."

“I don't need a lecture on the obvious.” She looked toward the centerpiece of the room. “I have a gift prepared that will settle this. Even if Scarlett is kin, she is a weakling. I will show the Ridge who the true Luna is.” The time for the Tribute arrived. Bria waited until the end, seeking the maximum impact. When she pulled the shroud from her gift, the hall fell into a stunned silence.

"No, my king, this book is not for you, not today. Every living thing deserves to be put to rest, no matter how ugly or monstrous they may be." The last cart is the bigger one that has the tributes within. There are ten tributes within the cart that wear those purple robes. Among them is Bethah. They are all women and they're all about the same life cycle as one another. There are a few more shoulders that sit alongside the chosen druids, two that match the same fashion as the Fireborn soldiers from the head of the cart. One of them looms his gaze over to each one of the elven women but soon enough his gaze falls upon Bethah who is twitching from the nervousness. For a moment his still and s

They weren't there to protect the cargo of women so much as prevent them from escaping. She grimaced. She'd been trying to distract herself with the blue sky and scented breeze, but the grim soldiers and the incessant sobbing kept pulling her back to the present dilemma. Well perhaps not a dilemma, so much as a terrible and hopeless situation. She'd volunteered to be part of the tribute, to save her family the loss of her more promising sister, who, even at 19, already had numerous proposals. There were tributes every five years, sometimes gold, sometimes livestock, and every town gave their part. This year the creature had demanded young women.

After preparing quite a number of tributes, Nash walked toward the back of the mountain supported by Joan and Second Madam Lizzie. Not long later, the crowd arrived at the back of the mountain. There was a cemetery in the area where the ancestors of the Woods family were buried. A huge stone slab covered the cemetery’s entrance, and it gave everyone a somber, solemn feeling. After arranging the tributes to honor the ancestors, Titus appeared in front of the crowd and said lots of propitious words. He then said to the crowd, “Bow.”

ß I take a deep breath and hope the onlookers don’t notice, standing like I’ve peeked at the girls before I did. The microphone sounds and the auctioneer starts the bid at ten grand. Holy shit.

Yes, sir", we both(the other Sam and I) replied him in unison. The info in the pamphlet was something like this; THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA IN COLLABORATION WITH TENCENT GAMES PRESENTS.. THE HUNGER GAMES EVENT! Each team in all the locations are to produce two tributes. The objective of this event is to get to the treasure locked up in a hidden chest and not "die" while trying. The first tribute(or two tributes from the same team) to take hold of this "treasure" or touch it wins. There will be puzzles and riddles. Some holding the key to a special equipment, while some(which are the most important) would act as a directional guide to the hidden "treasure chest".
