Novel & Cerita 6 Hours Away

I looked at him. “Easy,” he said. “Us, too,” I replied. “It’s going to take about six hours to work. Let’s get a hotel tonight. Sleep in real beds. Catch the news tomorrow to make sure our job is done and then go home.” Home. That sounded amazing.

This time I was going to be the person who got them back. "Six hours is enough," I said. And I reached for the phone..

Xander's POV I left the hotel in a haste not wanting to let go of the chance to capture that jerk. When Tyler said that he spotted the guy on our surveillance that was enough for me to gear up and go to the place he was last seen. "Xan, he's about 1 hour drive away from where you are right now so I will keep watching to see where he goes. So don't do anything rash and stay put until I send some back up for you okay. Cause he's not alone"

"It's not that bad, it's just a little bit higher than an hour." Aurelia peeked at me through half-closed lids, " How long?" "About 4 hours, 47 minutes. See, it's not that bad, at least it's not a five-hour flight." Aurelia rolled her eyes and shifted back, " Judah, you might have to go to New York yourself, I think I'll rather stay here with Gerald and Diane."

Fuck him, how dare he do that? "Alpha!" Zia exclaims when she sees me approaching. That smile tells me everything is good at home and that she had been bothered of my whereabouts, "You didn't return in the next six hours, Alpha. Noon makes it the one hundred and ninety seven hours you've been away." Five days? I lost consciousness for five days.

"Colorado is what, three states?" "Four depending on the route." He turned the coffee cup in his hands. "And you're calculating this because?" I looked at him. He looked back at me. We had been doing this long enough that some conversations didn't need all their words. "She goes home in two weeks," I said. "Connecticut. The whole break." "How far?" "Four hours from here." I paused. "Three and a half from Boston." Marcus was quiet for a moment. "Declan."

"How far is it?" He looked down at her steadily. "Six hours." She held his gaze, her heart dropping slightly. Six hours was a real distance. It wasn't down the road, and it wasn't a quick drive. It was a real thing that required real choices and conversations they hadn't even started yet. "We'll figure it out. That's what we do." He looked at her for a long moment, studying the calm expression on her face. Then the corner of his mouth moved into a small smirk. "When did you get so calm about everything?"

I never do. Eighteen hours. That number keeps replaying in my head, detached from everything else, like it’s its own separate thought. Eighteen hours since I left the country. Since I put physical distance between myself and Devin. Since I made the decision everyone keeps telling me was necessary, strategic, unavoidable. I hear those words in other people’s voices, layered over each other, dull and reasonable and completely useless

“Since the first confirmed breach.” Six. The number hung in the air. Apollo did not move. He did not need to. His mind had already begun its own quiet arithmetic. Six hours since contact. Thirteen hours since Adelaide’s awakening. He felt the numbers settle into place with a clarity that made his spine stiffen against the throne’s carved back. Cold arithmetic. No comfort in it.

Mandy explained, "Thank you, when are you taking us round those cities?" Steve asked, "We can't go round the cities because they are far from each other, some are nine hour hours journey, some are six hours journey, and the other one Is eighteen hours journey" Mandy explained, "tell me how do we go roundvto those far place like heaven" Mandy asked, "We can go on helicopter, I will charter a helicopter that will take us round at least for five days" Steve said,
