" I stared at him, my heart slamming violently against my chest as a sickening knot made its way to my gut. "You can’t do this, Captain. Please!’’ My voice cracked with desperation as I leaned over his desk. "You know how much this case mean to me. I’m close, so damn close! So so close that I almost found out who the ringleader of the syndicate is. It’s just a matter of time before my team and I bust open the whole syndicate and drag them all to hell!" "A matter of time??" Captain DiCaprio let out a harsh laugh, his face turning a dark, dangerous red as he stepped even closer to me.

I sighed. Different from what history says, Sins in the present are dangerous. Years of hiding made some of us loose it and just blow up into pure anger and lust for power. A lot of Sins used their abilities to steal, hurt the weak, and kill. Though a great number wants to live in peace, ones that have immoral beliefs and dark views in life still exist. If only the King didn’t die, maybe there’s still order among us. Maybe we won’t have to hide and live in fear of being captured. ..

Looking at Nathan with pure hatred. "Step away from him Serena." I looked at Nathan. He didn't move. Didn't reach for a weapon. Just stood there calm and empty-handed. "Nevan wait." I held up my hand. "He has something from Dad." "I don't care. He's a Redmond." "No. He's telling the truth." Nevan's gun came out. "The only truth here is that they killed Dad's first-born." "The only truth is that the killing needs to stop." My voice came out steady. "Because if it doesn't, we all die."

I blurted and the way Shaun turned to look at me, I was certain he was confused. "For what?” "This is so wrong. I have an undivorced husband” I added, but he still had a confused look on his face. "It's a sin for a woman to cheat on her husband,” I said and that caused Shaun to scoff. “I don't know how this works, but isn't it a sin for a husband to lay his hand on his wife. Not just a sin but a crime” "That's different” "You are trying to say that for a woman to be happy is a sin?” he asked and I broke into tears.

There were some that even proclaimed; how weak the seven were that they choose to rule hand in hand, if it where them they would have ruled the underworld alone and unchallenged. But the funny part was that many of those hot blooded talents didn't even manage to live long as just as they shine for a moment they were either openly killed or assassinated by the veterans mafias that experienced the era of the seven sins as they are still fearful and making sure that another such era never appear again. They don't dare confront the seven brothers but it does not mean they can't take care of weaker threats before they could grow.

"You mean, God will actually forgive a thief who's been stealing for so many years?" "Yes, our God is merciful." I nodded again, then smiled and leaned back on the chair. "Father…" I called out with a sly smile. "Then you should be confessing your sins now." "Confess my sins?" Father Reed asked. "Yes, like they say, experience is the best teacher. Confess your sins let's see if he'll forgive you afterwards…" I trailed off, leaving Father Reed in suspense. "After what?" "After you die." Father Reed frowned. "I'm not sick. I'm very healthy and I'm not about to die anytime soon."

"So what did she do with this power?" "She achieved the unthinkable," the maid said, her voice dropping to a hushed tone. "She used the energy to trap the seven deadly spirits—manifestations of the sins themselves. they're seven deadly sins : wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony. But originally, they are more than mere concepts. They are entities, powerful and destructive. Trapping them required strength beyond comprehension." My mouth went dry at the thought. "And she succeeded?"

She wiped my tears and gave me a tender smile, “I have seen the way he looks at you, I know he’s into you… trust me, you can revenge on him by making him believe that you can fall in love with him too,” "B...But, I can't... I can't love a man who kills, rapes, sins without acknowledging, I can't ever love him," I hiccupped again, my chest blocked with anxiety. If he could kill anyone, he would kill me too, as easily as blowing the dust away from the tip of his fingers.

It is like Sin senses this, so he holds onto my hand, intertwining our fingers. Now, all of the seven deadly sins have gathered around us; Pride in his suit and blonde hair, Envy in her dark skin, Sloth in her shiny but lazy aura, Wrath in his angriest form, Greed standing quiet as usual, Gluttony standing in a conrer beside Greed with something in his mouth. And the last one, Luca, I am guessing he should be Lust. That explains a lot about his sexual gratifications. “We are leaving. Pave the way.” Sin glares at Envy.
