I think I had offended her somehow. "Hello, I'm John Travo," he said, pointing to his wife. "And my lovely wife, Mary." Mary looked me up and down, her smile condescending.“Hello.” I beckoned to both of them. Mary lifted her nose, “How old are you?” Mary asked me bluntly. I smiled, feeling my cheeks heat up. “I’m twenty-nine,” I replied. Mary grew a large smile, “Ahh… Twenty-nine and no children? Afraid to lose that figure, are we?” She looked me up and down, “Not much to lose- probably help us grow a little.” She gestured at her chest and hips. Well. Mary sure didn’t care for me.

The fact that my mate will be a Harvest female makes me feel practically giddy. Finally after about a four minute wait it is my turn to use the teleport platform. I plug in the coordinates for the home on the other side of the planet and move to the middle of the small round platform. A quick whoosh sound greets my ears and I immediately find myself on a different teleport pad. This one being close to the coordinates I plugged in.

Ann sat quietly at the wooden table in the small country home, staring down at the old flip phone in her hand. Her fingers traced the edges of the device as the weight of the conversation she had just had with Evelyn lingered heavily in her mind. The night was silent, save for the occasional crackling of the fire burning in the hearth beside her. It was a comforting sound, but tonight, nothing could ease the turmoil that had settled deep in her chest.

Its leave-less branches is bent in a way that provides some kind of shade on a big hole in the ground. I squint my eyes to help clear my vision and move slowly towards the hole and that's when I see it too. ********************************

He still couldn’t bring himself to come to the terms that his mate was a human. Maybe there was some sort of mix up, maybe his wolf was just being needy and decides to accept the closest person he sees as his mate, but then again, the moon goddess can never be wrong. The whole thing was driving him crazy. He took out his phone and dialled a number. “Aunt, I need to see you.”

“ GET THE HELL AWAY FROM MY MATE ” We both looked at our right still engaged in the hug to see Astrid standing with her eyes red and angry. Mate ? Did I hear correctly.

Few minutes later, a beep came from Alex phone. Alex grabbed his phone quickly not containing his excitement. "Oh Jojo, I got my first match, and look, she's texted." He went quickly to see her Display picture, but he couldn't see her face probably because she was looking up at the sky and had huge sun glasses on, but Alex could tell she was really beautiful and the killer body she had made him even more satisfied. "Oh Jojo, this is it, I have scored. Cupid really favoured me. What's her name... Amanda Walters." A smirk slowly growed on his face. "Well, hello Amanda."
