Estella took another sip of champagne. “People like them only respect strength.” Aizen’s eyes lingered on her face. “And yet you walked into a room full of dangerous people without hesitation.” Estella looked at the ballroom around them. Crystal lights. Fake smiles. Power games. Then she answered softly, “The most dangerous place is usually the safest place to hide.” A slow smirk appeared on Aizen’s face. God. This woman truly belonged in darkness beside him. “You’re not afraid no one will save you in a dangerous place like this?”
