I judged her way too soon, I hope she will forgive me. As we are walking back to my pack and I am getting nervous being out in the open, Jay is too young to defend himself. I am too far away to mind l**k my Beta, so I decide to let out a howl for help. I let out 3 howls, separated every 5 minutes until help came. It would be easier for them to hear my howl, so they would come to help me faster. I really could use all the help I could get at the moment.

I was willing to be a sacrificial lamb for them. "What do I do?" I asked myself as I held onto my head. I started to pace around the whole tent while my eyes watered due to unshed tears. I was broken at this point. "Ulfred!" This name suddenly rang in my head as my eyes widened, in realization. "He will help me! He has to help me!" I said to myself as I immediately scrambled out of the door. In a split second, I decided to travel to the Dark Wand Pack where I came from originally.

This is a fucking trap. “AURA NOOOOOOO!” it’s too late. We go over the crest and see thousands of rogues. My eyes widen at the numbers. Aura throws her head back and howls loudly, letting the pack know we need help. The howls ring out from our pack and the thunderous sound of paws on the ground vibrates through the earth. “CRYSTAL, YOU FUCKING COWARD, FIGHT ME ONE ON ONE. LET’S END THIS TODAY!” Aura shouts and the rogues all roar at her. Fenrir comes to my side.

Desperation clawed at the edges of my mind as I cried out for help, my voice echoing through the silent woods. "Help! Somebody, please help me!" I screamed, my voice raw with fear and desperation. I didn't care if Alpha Kayden found me now, as long as someone came to my aid. And then, in the blink of an eye, salvation came. With lightning speed, a huge werewolf pounced on the creature, pulling it away from me with effortless strength. I watched in awe as the two creatures grappled with each other, locked in a deadly dance of claws and teeth.

“P-please... help...” The beast growled and in one swift motion... ________

The ground continued to tremble beneath our feet as more poured through the forest, bringing with them that vile scent. I froze mid-battle, taking in the sheer number of them. There were too many for us to fight. In seconds we would be overwhelmed. In minutes, we’d all be dead. I had no way to communicate with the other contestants, to tell them that we needed to run and get out of here, so I did the only thing I could think of. I threw back my head and unleashed a deafening howl. It was a soul-piercing sound reserved solely for when an Alpha or Luna met their end. Never had it been used for anything else. The howl captured the attention of the other contestants, and even a few of the rogues

My hand’s throbbing, and my head’s joined in. Then Tala pipes up over the Pack link. “/Aiden? The Goldhawk werewolves just showed up./”

Their ember eyes brightened, locking onto her mark. One stepped forward. Then another. Then all of them. I stepped back until my heel hit the dirt ridge of the hill. I couldn’t outfight them. I couldn’t outrun them—not with Lily unconscious and burning in my arms. My throat felt like it was closing. My lungs stuttered. Everything inside me screamed— ‘Help. Someone help. Please.’ A howl split the night. Not a shadow-creature. Not a corrupted spirit. A wolf. Familiar. “JOHANIS!”

He roars and she starts to run away into the distance. “Go after her…” I say to Rory through the mind-link. “I can’t, not right now!” He sighs before launching himself into a fight to help Tate. “Aida, Isla has the wolfsbane!” Hong’s voice enters my mind. “Where is she?” “She’s coming to you!”

] chains are being thrown around me, my arms, legs and around my neck, I choke and try to break free. Voices and screams roar from below and start to surround me ** ahhh save me! help me! please set me free! save meeeee! help meeee! ** hands begin to grab me in the dark, cold, clammy hands [ ahh! something bit me! stop it! what is it! I can't move! don't touch me ] I hear my wolf howl in the distance and stop to look up, he's being taken further and further away from me [ Raiiidddddddddd! ] I watch horrified as two arrows with flames head straight towards me, there is no way I'd be able to dodge, so I guess this is the end for me.
