"Werejonalle!" "Clarkson!" I heard some of the shouts from the Golderine Werewolves, some voices was really familiar for me, they came from my friends that was in the omega rank, like Clarendon, Jena, Julo and Juno. My friends that never leave me on the time of happiness and darkness in my life. There I realized that in frienship there was no higher and lower, it does not need to be in the same level for you to feel that they are always be there for you.

"The truth is that I was―" An arrow shot through Ether's chest, and another, and another. Sounds of screams and the deafening horn that signify a war resonated through the woods. Sprinting toward the center as the chaos began, I reached Ether. "No... No... Ether!" Blood continued to flow down her body as she lay down there on the ground. With trembling hands, I tried to hold her head. "E-Ether... H-Help... Help us, please..." I looked around myself and saw humans attacking wolves, wolves attacking humans, wolves attacking wolves... They had transformed, as if nobody could stop them anymore. Screams, bodies, blood spilling and splatter red everywhere...

“Okay. You’re right. That was too close.” His nostrils flared. He inhaled sharply, and the sound had a strange edge to it, like he was testing the air for something. For me. My pulse stumbled. I forced my hands to unclench, palms open, the universal sign of I’m not holding a weapon. “I’m a vet,” I said, because it was the only identity I trusted in moments like this. “I help animals. I. I can help you.” The wolf’s ears flicked back, not in submission but in pain. His breath came in thick pants, steam faintly visible in the cold air.

I will never be vulnerable again. But even as I form this resolution, I feel the weight of my phone in my pocket, the ghost of Lucas's message haunting me. "I can help." And the most dangerous part of me—not the wolf, but the woman—wants to believe him.

I couldn't lose him. "Wolfsbane," he mutters, his eyes closing. I feel my heart sink as I hear the words, and I shout for help. “Anyone there!” I yell. “Someone help me!” I yell, my wolf howling with my voice.

Jacob replied quickly. Hayle started crying again, but she tried to control her fear, sadness, and shock. With trembling fingers, she typed out a message. She couldn’t make a call because she was too scared to make any noise. “Please help me! I really need your assistance!” “Okay! How? Where?” “Wait for my update! Don’t turn off your phone!” Hayle responded immediately. She took a deep breath. She had to get through that hole, wherever it might lead! She had to! She had to get out of there! She couldn’t die in that place!

One of the wolves on parole. He stumbled, claws scraping the ground, shifting halfway into human form as he collapsed to his knees. “Help him!” Aria shouted. Selene rushed forward, supporting the trembling wolf. He grabbed her arm, voice cracking as he gasped.. “Th-there’s… there’s… an attack!!!” The words ripped through the air like lightning. The ground trembled. And everything changed.
