I have been missing my wife for days now, and I couldn’t bear the thought of not being by her side for another second more than necessary. “Ah, you’ve called it, Dalton,” he answered with a fake smile. “My wife and I have been married for three decades now, but the struggle whenever we’re apart is still as fresh as when we first started dating.”
