A Moth To Flame Chapter 1 Novelas e Histórias

Which meant she knew something I didn't. The realization made me uneasy. Very uneasy. Finally exhaustion began pulling me under. My eyes grew heavy. My thoughts became blurry. And eventually... Sleep claimed me. --- I found myself standing in darkness. Cold darkness. The kind that swallowed sound. For a moment, I couldn't see anything. Then fire appeared. A single flame. Floating in the air before me. Tiny. Beautiful. Dangerous. I stared at it. The flame flickered. Then another appeared. And another. And another.

She read: “When all is ash, You are still altar. When the house falls, Your Spirit finds shelter. When they scatter us, You gather fire from the wind.” James exhaled. No applause. No spotlight. Just peace. The kind that doesn’t come from victory. The kind that only comes from surrender. End of Chapter 15🤭 •Chapter 16 – The Fire That Walks The Ember Ground had no walls, but it echoed like a temple. For seven days straight, they gathered the children of the slum, the weary souls, the angry, the hungry, the hopeless. They came not for spectacle, but because something burned here. Something not made by man.

A shadow stood beneath the trees—tall, unmoving, cloaked in silver mist. Her wolf growled low. Danger. The figure lifted its head slightly, revealing eyes like burning coals beneath the hood. A strange scent filled the air—cold, ancient, not of wolf or human. Then the whisper came—clear, soft, chilling. “The Moon’s Flame... the world will burn or bow for you...” Crystal stumbled back. The figure did not move. The whisper brushed her ear again, curling around her mind like smoke. “Soon, little flame. Soon you will choose... light or ruin"

I poured the circle of salt and oil. Then I lit the fire. It didn’t start gently. No delicate flicker, no struggling smoke. It roared—alive before the match even reached the earth. The flames rose in spirals, gold and red and blue, licking at the sky with hunger. I stood at the edge of the circle, arms outstretched, waiting. And then I stepped in. --- The heat didn’t burn. Not at first.

The heat should have burned me already. It should have scorched my skin. But instead, I felt cold. My eyes widened. The flames touched my arm suddenly. I gasped sharply and jerked back. But nothing happened. No pain. No burns. The fire slid across my skin like water. My heartbeat staggered. “What…” Another wave of flames rushed toward me violently, swallowing the bed whole this time. The mattress exploded into sparks. Smoke filled the room thicker now. I should have been dying. Instead, something inside me stirred awake.

Door 6 Chloe and Hunter tore open the envelope. “I burn without hands; I consume without teeth; I dance and die with every breeze.” Hunter frowned. “Fire?” The door clicked open. Chloe rolled her eyes and shoved him playfully. “Lucky guess.” They were led back, Chloe mumbled something about him being useless without her. Door 4

Not normal flame, silver, alive, wrapping my hands like liquid light. It burned without heat, shimmered without smoke. It wasn’t me controlling it, it was as if it recognized the danger and acted on its own. The rogue screamed, stumbling back as the silver fire lashed out, grazing his chest. He fell, convulsing, the scent of scorched air filling the clearing. The others faltered, whispering in panic. “The Moon’s Flame…” one breathed. Raven moved fast, slashing at another’s side. Mason finished him with a brutal kick.

My voice is going hoarse from screaming for help. As I hear heels click on the marble floor, my heart stops. The fluorescent lights flicker to life casting a blinding light that makes me pinch my eyes closed. When I slowly open them, I see Jessica, Heidi, and Lenore, standing before my suspended frame.

A kind that had never been heard of. “We move to the next section— the circle of flames.” ~~~ Section III — The Circle of Flame. A ring of blue fire burned, unyielding. I stepped into it, and immediately, the flames licked at my skin—not burning, but testing. “What’s happening?.” I asked, surprised that the flame wasn’t burning me. “Be still child, and watch. This is you burning fiercely.” “I don’t understand?.” “Let your rage take shape, but do not let it consume you.” She warned again, and immediately I felt a zip of power coursed through me.

Immediately I did that, I saw it. It was not a monster, not a burning rage but a small flickering light deep in my chest. “I see it,” I whispered quickly. My heart came to life that instant. “Good. Now talk to it. Let it know you’re not afraid.” She muttered, still with a calm voice. That was a lie, but I tried anyway. I reached out, inside and let my thoughts touch the flame. To my surprise, the flame moved, not away from me, but towards me.
