"That thing bit me" she said, pointing at the cage as Kira shifted her gaze from her injured hand to the cage. Hazel picked the scarf from the table and started tying back the bite mark the bunny had given her. "How did it happen?" "It was that same bunny I fed with some love potion" she responded and finished tying the scarf around the bite mark and walked to the shelves where she brought out the old worn out book

Twenty-minutes had passed, and as Frost was walking, she spotted a silver-ranked black rabbit beast cutely nibbling on a carrot. 'Looks like God is favoring me today. I haven't eaten a rabbit in a long time. And I'm craving of it.' Frost mentally stated. This rabbit beast was bound to be her food today. In a very careful manner, Frost soundlessly walked. She grabbed her dagger, and leaped out. In a matter of seconds, Frost was already grabbing the rabbit beast's fat body and unflinchingly slid her dagger on its neck. The rabbit beast spasms for a moment before it finally stills, indicating that it's dead.

The rabbit was feeding, so it hardly noticed Belinda’s presence. Belinda excitedly and nervously reached for the arrow from her quiver. She had to put the torchlight on the ground so as to fix her arrow on her bow. As she tried fixing the arrow, another rustling noise and snapping of branches filled the air, this time it was faster and louder. The torchlight suddenly went off, and she heard the cry of pain and agony from the rabbit. Fear ran down her spine and her hands began to shake when she sighted a larger animal feed on the rabbit.

Rabbit. I threw an apple at her as hard as I could and missed. Then another, it knocked her over, her balance thrown off. I dove for the rabbit and landed a few feet from it. Evil little Maxine growled and lunged for me as I grabbed a stick off the ground and I swung it around wildly. She grabbed the branch from me and snapped it in half, her mouth opening, showing me sharp teeth and oozing blackness coming out from her mouth.

Something heavy lunged from the shadows, jaws clamping down on his calf. Pain erupted, hot and shocking, teeth sinking deep. He screamed, stumbling backward, hands clawing at the fur, the weight, the bite. The taste of blood hit him instantly, coppery and sharp.

My voice came out lower than I intended. A pause. Anya tried to look past me. “Can we see her?” I shook my head instantly. “No.” The word landed like a slap. Her expression broke. “Are you serious right now?” I stepped back slightly, blocking the doorway without thinking. Inside, the wolf shifted. A low sound built in her chest. Warning. Anya heard it. So did the others. Silence dropped instantly. Kylah frowned. “What was that?” Nobody answered. Because how do you explain that?
