Feeling was all I could do.
Her dress had a zipper at the back, the only thing between me and Heaven itself. My hands shook as I tried to pull it down, but the metal caught halfway. I tugged again, harder. No luck.
“Come on,” I grumbled, fighting with the stupid thing.
Seraphina laughed softly and turned around. “Don’t you dare ruin my dress.”
“Then help me out,” I said, half out of breath.
She moved her hair aside, and the smooth line of her neck came into view. I froze. That was the spot. The mark. The place I’d dreamed about since the moment our eyes met. My instincts roared to bite, to claim, to seal what the bond had started.
