I was just a guest star. Oh. One tear finally dropped dramatically. I let it slide slowly. If I wiped it off, I might not be lucky enough to get another one. I needed the tear, just so I could feel the hurt. Because it was almost beginning to seem like I was growing numb by the second.

I say trying to hold back the tears. Richard holds me tighter against his hard chest. I take a deep breath inhaling his scent, and he smells so good that it makes my brain go into overdrive with excitement. I close my eyes as I feel a lone tear slide down my cheek. Richard pulls away and wipes away my tear with his thumb.

“I know, I’ve got you. I’ve got both of you.” A single tear slides from the corner of her eye down into her hair. Just one. And somehow that one tear does more damage to me than anything else. Because she isn’t crying. She’s too weak to cry. That one tear is everything she doesn’t have the strength to say out loud and I can only imagine the kind of pain tearing through her right now and I would trade every single thing I own to take it from her. “James.” I don’t turn around. I don’t take my hands off her. “James, right now.”

I cry for them. The warm golden glow begins to grow out of Trev as more of my tears fall on him. And it dawns on me. My tears, they can heal. My body, my mind, my soul, can harm and kill in an instant. But, my tears, can save the wounded, mend the broken. My empathy can be the salvation. I can just as easily kill as I can cure. So, I cry some more. The more I cry, the faster his wounds stitch back together. Color returns to his face and his eyes open to look at me as if I am an angel. Trev reaches a hand up and holds my face as my tears keep streaming down.

Just a small turn, like gravity finally won. A single tear slid out of the corner of my eye and soaked into the pillow. I noticed it the way you notice weather through a window—distant, impersonal. My face stayed still. My chest didn’t hitch. I pressed my lips together and forced the rest of the tears back down like they were something shameful. Don’t fall apart yet. Not yet.

It was still the same. Waves of disappointment hit me and I couldn't hold it back anymore. A single tear rolled down my eyes slowly, before finally leaving my face and dropping on Anna's face. That lone tear was followed by a stream of others.

Something I am glad of as a single tear runs down my face. “Please don’t” I say just above a whisper, his eyes flick up to mine, the guilt in his handsome face as he reaches up to wipe the tear from my face. I pull back not wanting him to take my tear, that's my tear my pain, that pain has fueled me to grow and be stronger. I pull my hand from him needing to regroup, sort through this horrible feeling that has been my constant companion for the past six months.

She pressed a hand to her mouth in an attempt to muffle her sobs, her emotions threatening to consume her. In the quiet solitude of the bathroom, her tears fell like rain. It was as if each tear held the weight of her fears, her regrets, and the overwhelming uncertainty that now hung over her future. She sank to the bathroom floor, her back against the wall, as the reality of her situation crashed down upon her.

“S-Scarlett…” Scarlett smiled, her tears still streaming down her cheeks. Sharlene tried to touch her daughter on the cheek. “I-I’m sorry,” she apologized. Scarlett shook her head and took her mother’s hand in hers. “Please tell your father that I’m sorry… I-I l-love him…” Scarlett's eyes widened, and she shook her head as she sobbed. “Everything will be fine, mom; let’s go home,” she sobbed. Sharlene wiped Scarlett's tears away with a smile.

she said, and TEARDROPS began wetting her chubby cheeks. "Yes," I said, claiming her lips... End of POV:- … These teardrops were lovely... they were for their happiness... Shaurya shed tears for his mother and siblings... Arjun shed tears for his wife and children. Pashika sobbed for the joy of having her kids in her arms. A mother who was wandering around wept for her lonely child who was all grown up but still a child for her. She missed her son.
